This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

It's good to have Specter back in our camp as well. Earlier, I was worried that Specter would go against Alito in committee. Thanks to Kennedy, it is now guaranteed that Alito will get at least ten votes out of committee.

Things to watch for this morning, IMHO, and why there may be some fireworks...

1. Resolution of this CAP crap, and yesterday's spat between Arlen and the Swimmer

2. Given all the media attention paid to Mrs. Alito's tears last night, look for all the GOP senators to take a much more agressive stance to the Dems...This has been the defining moment of the hearings so far....Sen Graham was wondeful last night, apologizing to the Judge and his family...but that was before everyone saw how big a play it got overnight and this morning...so there will be much more said by theGOP senators

Possible BIG dust-up

Feingold asked for a list of all who advised/coached Alito during the prep for the hearings...There was mention in the media that Lindsay Graham helped him...some on the left wailed..the NY TIMES said it was inapporporaite in the he would then be voting on him, after helping him...If Feingold decides to make an issue of it..look for Lindsay to take the gloves off...could get ugly..

They surely have the same ideologies and guilt by association tactics, including the will for supreme federal power, hatred of religions.......ad infinitum....

Well, I can now count ONE person who has switched affiliations from because of the rude behavior of these liberal Senators.

The ones I've spoken with won't be changing their affiliations, but they will be changing their votes :)

I hope that someone makes it clear today that it wasn't Senator Graham who made Mrs. Alito cry. CNN and ABC news tried to portray the story that Mrs. Alito had to leave the hearing room and wouldn't come back until Graham apologized.

They can't even report the most basic facts without lying. What does that say about them that they can't tell the truth to save their lives.
