Judge Berry: Many glowing accounts have been stated about Sam. Let me just say that I endorse every one of them.
Powerful character witness.

I can see why Feingold was so upset with these people testifying.

So, are the dems gonna have people tesitfy that he shouldn't be confirmed? If they do, they're gonna look like fools...not that it would stop them...nor should we want it to.
To: saveliberty
It is clear from the testimony we've heard that Alito is a good man and a great candidate for Supreme Court Justice. Any witness trying to trash him will be so transparently biased that it will backlash.

Judge Aldisert said that there was a discussion about the age of judges today, and "I am an old man".
He swore in Orrin Hatch who looks like he's going to cry.

He had a very short time on the bench. And since there's the imaginary rule of maintaining or reducing the number of conservatives, it was less of an issue that with O'Connor, who has voted with the left far too often.
At least she was right in Kelo but sheesh

Well, they'll probably run a few radicals from People for the Unamerican Way, NARAL, and NOW up there, but nobody's gonna listen to any of them the way they're listening to these judges.
