Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.
THURS., 9:00AM ET, C-SPAN

What, Ted Kennedy will testify? LOL! Won't he have to recuse himself from the committee? :-)
Then you heard Lindsey Graham's voice breaking. I'm not a fan of Graham, and he's our senator, but he did seem honestly affected knowing the pain Alito's family must have suffered listening to the Rats attack his good name.
More like it's all Bush's fault there is no flu vaccine and we're all going to die.......die.......die.........
I caught a liberal caller to C-SPAN last night in the segment after Kennedy had his bombastic blow-up ... caller was totally choked up & almost started crying as he said, "I am so proud of Senator Kennedy, he's the only person there who's willing to stand up people ..." and I couldn't believe what the caller's derived sentiments were from Kennedy's pure character assassination & how anything he's done in the hearings could possibly be derived as standing up for people.
They know they botched, they don't care. They'll continue to do the same things over and over again, expecting different results each time they do it.
The ultimate justice of it all is that leftist-front groups have spent millions of dollars trying to bring down this nominee, and the Democrats botched the whole process right in front of America's eyes.
Will he accuse Alito of putting hair in his coke?
That's a particularly telling turn of phrase. They never say what the choice is, or is between. You'd think that such a "fundamental right" would be discussed proudly and openly by those who profess its centrality to their lives. But no: in public, it is always couched in the same reductive euphemism: the right that dare not speak its name.
The Thomas 'hearings' were the closest thing I've seen to a 'black-lynching'.
I guess it hit the over:

We love Elmer! Elmer knows more about business and capitalism than all of the liberal economists combined.
did you know that if you made all of the economists lie down in a line, head to toe, head to toe, you would never reach a conclusion? :-)
"I agree! As a matter of fact, I would be willing to donate money to assist them in the mass exodus."
Oooh, wouldn't that be sweet. We should start a fund to send all libs that hate America to the country of their choice, providing they give up their US citizenship.
I wonder how Rush and Sean would play that one up on the air.
Saw a crawl on one of the cable stations last evening. Ried is a target in the Abramoff investigation.
It sure is. Thanks for the post from the DU looney. Amazing--and sad--the frenzy into which they whip themselves.
You know, people can disagree agreeably...but I just don't/can't for the life of me understand their venom. You should see how they are ripping Mrs. Alito, calling him a Nazi, etc. It's just filled with hate. At least our differences with the dems are philosophical instead of "I'm right, you're wrong, nyah, nyah, nyah"
Most at DNC or moveon are under 25 or over 65. And then do not forget many in hollyweird hang out there.... so just know most of middle america does not feel the way those harry belefonte mentality.
"you lying liar who tells lying lies"
Spongebob Squarepants: I smell that smell, that smelly smell, the smell that smells.... smelly.
The Dems sure know how to stink up a room.
All the while smiling in strange, inappropriate places and donning Princeton CAPS.
