This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

He's also badgering the Judge to give him a direct answer to a question that the Judge says he can't answer because that may come up (and probably will) before him in the future--CS isn't even letting him finish his statements before moving on to another subject. >:-(
Schumer is such a jackass. Like there is any chance in HELL is going to vote for Alito.
He's not even listening to his answers. He's making idiotic faces like he's 5 years old.
Schumer is asking him to reveal how he would vote on the case of a statute regarding naturalization of american born children of illegal immigrants.

The number of DEMs who wanted to go was limited, so Specter easily gave whatever time was requested. He figures the questioning will be done shortly, which I take as one more DEM. The GOP have been reserving their time, so Alito has been facing back to back DEMs. Once the DEMs are done, Alito has a couple paper answers to prepare, then be available if necessary for further questioning.
