He keeps talking about the Constitutionality of executing an innocent person. The Judge keeps saying (essentially) "we need a case."
I say Russ volunteer.

He wants Alito to predict the future. Or he wants Alito to recuse himself in the future.

The Constitution has only one guarantee: Article 4 Section 4 which states that the federal government shall guarantee to every state in the union a republican form of government.
The democrats have been chipping away at that for years. Even our current politicians believe we're a democracy.
I want to reeducate people.

I hadn't heard this line before, Alito talking about a seminar he lead that delved into Civil Rights in light of the War on Terror. Alito says he knew that there would be lots of legal activity here - but uses the experience to point out the value in having a diverse (racially, sex, background) group in an educational context.
Interesting that Alito does not sign onto discrimination as furthering a compelling state interest.

Its Ironic that the Democrats would probably consider their own line of questions to Judge Alito during this hearing torture at Gitmo.

I say Russ volunteer. How about right now?
Russ is fund raising right now. He's throwing fodder to all his special interests groups. What a whore.

Alito says he can't imagine why congress wouldn't have the power to legislate who can get married.

Again, Alito is quoting a case off the top of his head...smart guy!
