Start with taking post #569 seriously. Clue yourself in. Then we'll talk.
Not putting a date certain on the retirement provides uncertainty and opportunity for prolonged politicing the retirement that would not otherwise be there.
I wrote more about it a few months ago, but don't have a quick handle on the posts.
Beside the use of *Freeper* as an epithet by libs, the content of this message in defining two ways to proove one's manhood in the 70's is profound. Sleep around and be a counter culture revolutionary or proove yourself in battle. One side becomes a liberal. The other is a Freeper.

Choices and chances. Some of us made the choice, and barely missed the chance. Check this out, if this argument is attributable to Alito, the man is a giant.
I think his keepers have kept him off live TV since his "N" word incident.

"Damn! We're in a tight spot!" - I always listen to what a Dapper Dan Man says.
Byrd didn't believe all men were created equal.
He mentioned a study by Margaret Mead's husband (Boaz) which said whites have larger brains.
Politics Hoodwinked: Race and Robert Byrd Senator Fought Against Civil Rights in '64
At one point, continuing to emphasize what he believed was a fundamental inequality between the races, Byrd actually introduced a study by a Frank Boaz, author of the book "The Mind of Primitive Man." The book certainly was primitive, making the case at one point that white brains actually weighed a few grams more than black brains, with the resulting conclusion that whites were necessarily more intelligent. Byrd does not tell us how many brains were studied in this particular effort.
We're back.....Leahy's first words, "I concerned....."

All the dims are concerned and puzzled and troubled. I suppose they all own the same thesaurus.
Next year we will have a separate Mass for Christmas and for the Sunday after, so that will make a difference too.
I did feel as though something was missing this year.
>>I suppose they all own the same thesaurus.<<
Against Alito who seems to have a Photographic memory!
