This morning, Round 1 concludes with Senators on the Judiciary Cmte. who did not question nominee Alito yesterday. During Round 2, questioning is limited to 20 minutes for each of the eight- een senators. Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA) leads off, followed by the others, alternating by party in order of seniority.

I can't believe it. WABC radio news break for the Mark Levin Show said that Mrs. Alito left the room crying when Graham questioned her husband!

No one would know from that remark that Mrs. Alito was crying over the RATS vicious Inquisition.

MYGAWD, can they be more clueless? Or is it purposeful misinformation? These people are sinking lower than even I thought they were capable of. They're just flailing in all directions, hoping like hell they hit something. Can't wait to see katie couric's take on today's proceedings. She too may hit a new low.

I heard that on WABC also. And, Lizarde reported that CNN took the same angle.

Too fast on the report - shades of "12 miners are alive!"

Granted, they are reporting what they wish, that Graham made Mrs. Alito cry. But on brief reflection that doesn't pass the smell test.

I'm sorry but I did not hear Feingold say that at all. He kept saying, "if you are confirmed" blah blah blah...

After Feingold, Sen. Brownback (R) yielded his time after he stated he would be voting for Alito in hearing and on floor...

I think the poster may have gotten Brownback mixed up with Feingold?

Americans are smarter that the MSM thinks they are. In no way will the average american believe this.

IMO- The dems are thru with trying to block Alito because of this. There will be no filubuster. There is no way that every single democrat will vote against Alito now. It might even be safe to say that Alito will get as many Dem votes as Roberts did, because of this. The Dems do not want to look like they were part of the attack pack of Dems. They are already trying to distance themselves.
