Taglines are excrutiating to me. I can never think of anything tag-worthy.Here: "If you want a really good idea, read a really old book."

Thanks, YaYa. Begala is scum. That's not fair to scum. I'm sure the average used car salesmen, trial lawyer, or pornographer would not appreciate having Begala or Carville counted among their number. Even scum has some standards.

Sure is--where is that being reported?

Feingold is not so stupid as to know which way the winds and their precious polls are blowing in this case. He's going to jump on the bandwagon. I give him credit for nothing except for being astute enough to get on the winning side.

Don't be too sure about that if only 10% of the hard core conservatives were ready to throw stuff through their t.v. screen like I was after seeing Mrs. Alito leave the room in tears you will hear plenty about it and it just might culminate Sunday.

I think the big news here is that Russ Feingold (after the Mrs. Alito crying incident) stated flat out that he would be voting for Judge Alito both in the committee and on the floor. That's big. I think Russ Feingold is a little less clueless as to what this spectacle looks like to the average American. The others are pandering to their cook base and probably don't realize the damage they are doing to themselves.

Where did you see that? If Feingold is voting for Alito...the Dems are completely sunk and the hearings might as well be over. Wow.
To: conservativebabe
Did they think that the Dems were not being hard enough on Alito or too hard on him?

No one will see it.
Jan Crawford Greenberg, the outstanding Supreme Court reporter for the Chicago Tribune, just recounted the whole episode on public television. She said the whole day -- and the raft of hateful and pathetic attacks -- have been overwhelming.http://www.confirmthem.com/?p=2087
Time will tell. It seems to be striking a chord with some reporters.

They basically were calling the Dems behavior "disgusting".

can someone confirm this Feingold story?
or are the Dems busy waterboarding Feingold right now in a Senate mens room to change his mind.
