Now Leahy is at it.

The devils, er dems, were asserting that precisely because Ashcroft was religious he wouldn't be able to do his job.
Evidently only G-Dless moral relativists are allowed to serve their country.

You know, this has nothing to do with Alito at this point, it's all about one-upmanship by these narcissistic creeps.
To: Miss Marple

Memo to the DC Sandwich King......don't mess with that long-time, experienced, wily old prosecutor/defense attorney, Arlen Specter. For a minute there, I thought Senator "I'll Have a Doddwich to Go!" was about to pop his brain cell.
We just witnessed a DC-dick-waving contest -- something rarely if ever done in public, something we're not likely to witness again very often, or very soon.
It takes a lot for one A/H to provoke another with the cameras rolling live.

Leahy, Kennedy...all of the democrats are desperate now. Look for more outrageous and out of order requests by the dems. Most will be to slow down the proceedings, but Spector needs to stay tough, the democrats are capable of anything!
To: Howlin
Coburn pointed out that Senator Durbin has done a complete 180 turn around on his Pro-Life position. And pointed out that Durbin wrote letters about his pro-life position up until 1989.

Ditto--I hate to say "I told you so," but I was one of Sen. Specter's few defenders several months back.
When this is all over, historians will look back and credit Sen. Specter with helping to usher in a new conservative era in the federal judiciary. He is keeping his end of the bargain.
Lahey looks embarrassed about fatty's and turbin's parliamentary nonsense.

"Don't be premature, Senator Kennedy."
I'm sure it's not the first time he's heard THAT before!
He should have told Ted, "We'll drive off that bridge when we need to."

He said Durbin was pro-life anti-abortion until 1989, and if Durbin can change his mind, so can Alito. It was great.
