I was really worried about Specter's vote in committe. Not any more.

True. Reminds me of an early 1990s playoff game Redskins vs. Falcons too. Falcons had no defense whatsoever, so they tried to just blitz on almost every down and the Skins burned them time and time again.
This hearing is the ultimate Actor's Studio for the Democrats. It's "Whose Vote is it Anyway?" with Drew Carey telling the Dems to act like they actually have the power to do what you like.

It's doubly funny because of the tone Kennedy took with Alito when he began questioning him. He got it back from Specter in spades, but Specter's tone was from genuine anger.

You'll have to see it later. It was GREAT. Specter was really mad at Kennedy for trying to take over the hearings.

You should see Ted Stevens.
That guy should go back to high school and take a refresher course in forensics.
I can't believe he was chosen to deliver opening remarks at President Reagan's funeral.

If the woman to the right (facing screen) is Judge Alito's daughter, some might think she is a silent but formidable ally for him. She has eyes that peer like a laser towards those trying to embarrass her father. It is (at least to me) fascinating to watch her eyes scan the dais and at times seemingly stare down the attacker.

You really could not make this embarrassing display by the Rats up. It is amazing to watch these hearings in contrast to how Thomas and Bork were treated.

Or extremel frustration.
As pompous as Specter is, Ted Kennedy almost makes him look humble by comparison.
