She lives in Delaware and apparently there was an outcry.
Even liberal Slate magazine called him the ever deranged Joe Biden.

"What did Biden say to insult Princeton?"
Only caught the part about Alito being in the ROTC there. But Biden was just taking a haughty stance while speaking about Princeton. Kind of like, "What a sorry, sorry school for you to attend, Judge Alito. Well, them folks at Princeton ain't gonna sit still for that one!

Biden never ceases to find new ways to sink to a new low. Well, he seems pretty self-satisfied about his success at it.

Alito is calm, reasoned, rational and brilliant. Doing extremely well.
TV is a "cool" medium and Alito is made for this type of media exposure. Now, I expect Schumer to play the "bad cop" on the electronic eavesdropping matter. But the people's reaction, or the lack of it, to this issue is driving the Dim's mad; they keep beating the "illegal activity" drum to no real effect.
If Alito can convey a strong sensitivity to national security while discussing the need to protect individual freedoms, he will continue to strike a chord with the public. I would imagine that several rounds of questioning remain and that there is plenty of time for fireworks to start.

Anybody got dibs on a Brokeback Mountain type question? LOL!
My grandfather is on the Oscar Academy and has to watch all these movies that he is sent. On Christmas Eve my brother was talking to him and he said, "I have to watch Brokeback Mountain," then he let out this huge sigh like he'd rather have all his teeth ripped from his head.

I remember that I could not see speeches or committee hearings without some pinhead from a network who didn't know which end was up interrupting and misinterpreting what was going on.
Yes, there are liberal showings. I change the channel. Some of the conservative ones are really great.
I ignore the call ins.
I still love CSPAN

Just saw Schumer schmoozing with Alito, smiling and patting him on the shoulder, etc.
He had a lot of good things to say about Roberts on his interviews with the news outlets. He still voted "NO". He has to vote "NO". If he doesn't, the people who own him will allow him to go away.

Boy--you're making me think back 20 years ago--but-"to the best of my recollection", it is a Vietnam or prior combat wounded veteran. Don't know if this is still true--but back 20 years ago, a 10-pt vet could "open up" a hiring register for a Post Office in any town. Do not know if Iraq combat-wounded vets will get a 10 point status. Interesting question tho.
BTW--have to go do bunches of stuff--will "see" you guys later. GOD BLESS!
