I agree with you. He seems like a genuine good man who cares for all of us. Cornyn is very well-spoken and comes across in an easy manner, easy to understand.
I finally muted Chuckie until MY Senator spoke.I am so pleased with Cornyn.
Ah, so he's got a chip on his shoulder,eh?
Wow, Cornyn just said there is a solid block of 22 who will vote against you no matter what.
LOL!
I was thinking that too. Especially when the dims are up, it's like the cameramen are expecting Alito to look angry.
Durbin up next. I think it's time to wash my hair.
Excellent job by John Cornyn, up after Chuck.
Excellent!
telling it like it is. way to go.

Woo hoo, a pubie with a spine!
Re gas pumping. An atendant can pump maybe three-four times more gas per unit time per pump. So if real estate is a premium, a attended station is the way to go. Or in a very competitive area, because of the bigger volume.
If Washington State doesn't start shaking off it's terminal liberalism, the Lone Star State may be blessed with something else, me!
Good point!
I came armed. ;)
Cornyn will "calls em like he sees em".
A good man and a good Senator
It's possible. The preface is by George F. Kennan. I don't recognize that name. I've had this book since I was in 10th grade. I dragged it out last night just for the heck of it and skimmed through. Kennedy hasn't changed at all. He is exactly the same now as he was then. He discusses the Vietnam War and the student demonstrations, privacy issues concerning who the cops can spy on and hold, civil rights, etc. Same old stuff. It almost sounds like he could have written it yesterday.
Talking about the Founders being "people of faith."

Schumer says, "I respectfully submit..." Yeah right. How can he when he has no respect for himself?
