Your point's noted, but had Leinart just said something classy like, "I think we're a great team, but Texas is, too. Congratulations." He would have come off as a consummate sportsman and earned much respect.

It's like night and day, but I would say Penn State and Ohio State are 1 and 1a on defense in the nation.

Have to consider Alabama up there as well. Alabama's offensive was terrible which put even more pressure on the defense. At least Penn State and Ohio State could move the ball with regularity.

Bush may seem like he has "size" because he's 6'0" tall, but at 200 pounds he's on the light side for an NFL back.

Think of it this way . . . Philadelphia's Ryan Moats, a diminutive runner by NFL standards, was one of the smallest running backs selected in the draft last year. He was listed at 5'8" and 210 pounds.

Doesn't OSU come to Austin next year? Gonna be an amazing game, if that's the case and Vince stays.

VY just said in response to a question about whether this was his toughest game, he said it was tough but probably Ohio State was a tougher place to play, because the Rose Bowl was more wide open.

But at the press conference, though he had some compliments, he said that the Texas offense basically consisted of one player.

Why? Because Vince Young had well over 400 yards all by himself, almost half of them on the ground? LOL!

I can't recall a more dominating all-round offensive performance by a single player in a college bowl game. There have been quarterbacks who have thrown for more yardage but none that I can recall that put up huge numbers, splitting them between the air and ground like he did tonight.

You can't fault Texas for riding Vince Young's arm and legs to an undefeated season and a BCS championship.

No the zebra's didn't win it for Texas. USC lost the game in the first quarter with cocky Reggie Bush trying to lateral the ball and giving it to Texas, then USC going for it on forth down early in the game when they could have had a chip shot field goal, or calling their last time out before Texas' 2 point conversion.

Young's knee being down was a bad call, but it still would have been 1st and goal if they had called him down.

Note that unlike with USC, no one ever congratulates LSU on classiness.

Sorry, just the way you denied Tnet made it seem that you may have been part of the group that essentially left it form their own silliness board called SIF.

If you remember C4L from Tnet, he's the creator.

If I were an NFL general manager, I'd have White higher on my draft board than Bush.

I doubt that White will go very high at all. The USC line has a lot to do with the up the middle runs where White gets most of his yards. He might not be quick enough to get through the hole in the NFL and without a dominant offensive line he probably won't be able to ad lib.

Hell if I were him and I could snag a top 2 pick and the 9 million dollar pay day I'd reconsider.

Until now he's always said he was coming back to Austin
