Pres: The fact that some in America believe that I am not concerned about race, troubles me. One of the jobs of the president is to help people reconcile and unite. One of the most hurtful things I can hear is that "Bush doesn't care about African Americans'. It's not true number one.
I must do a better job of communicating, I guess. I will continue to do my best to reach out, April. We have an opportunity in NO, for example. To promote ownership and education and should extend to more than a single community.
The more African Americans own their own business, the better America is.
