Your right... HRC is playing it safe. That's why she should not be reelected in 06. She's just using the senate for a stepping stone.

The scary part is that I would vote for McCain over Hitlery and I wouldn't like it. He scares me to death as i believe he is the Manchurian Canidate.

If Bush passes the "baton" to McCain..I will work ACTIVELY against McCain during primary season. I would be enormously disappointed in GWB were he to do that- and his endorsement would not change my mind about McCain for a minute. I've watched him backstab enough over the years...he's lost my respect.

if Bush endorses McCain will you think aboout voting for him? Personally I don't care for McCain for a number of reasons, but if I think he will continue W's legacy, I might reconsider. It depends on who is running against him.
The "lesser of two evils" is still a viable consideration.

McCain would be 72 by the time he's inaugurated ... for that reason alone I think it's a bad idea.

No. Don't vote for him if he is the nominee. If it is McCain or Hillary, and you choose Hillary, so be it. If you help her by staying home, so be it. Just be prepared for what you get. You think the first eight years was a nightmare? Just wait.

Like I said in post #225....don't vote for McHillary (either of them), & don't sit out the '08 election. There are OTHER candidates who deserve your support that are not Republocrats.

But of course evil is always evil no matter how you look at it. True, now if it were to be humanly possible to strike a firm line defining what's good and what's evil there would be no question as to one's decisiveness in such matters.

I can't back McCain in the general election for dogcatcher.
I don't care if the ACU rates McCain 100%. On Dan's rating, he's unacceptable.
McCain's positives - Pro-life. Sometimes good on spending.
McCain's negatives - Gun grabber, Media Whore, McCain/Feingold, pushed to ban ultimate fighting, baseball hearings for steroids, opprotunist, Keating 5 criminal, supports censorship.
That's off the top of my head.
