What goes around comes around.

I boycotted them for coddling to illegal aliens, and haven't looked back. WalMart hates small business America, despite whatever "charity" they give out. That's just putting lipstick on the pig.

"upset over what her turkey-farming relatives saw as undue price pressure from the world's largest retailer."

If you can't compete, then get out of the market.

All this is being orchestrated by the Union thugs and their willing accomplices in the media. Throw in a few fringe liberal groups, and presto, you have an anti-Wal-Mart phalanx. I predict Wal-Mart will do just fine. Was in one just the other day and it was very crowded.

I'm going to have to boycott Walmart Corp as well. This latest outrage has convinced me to shop elsewhere.

Walgreens Fires Illinois Pharmacists Over Morning After Pill Scripts

St. Louis, MO (LifeNews.com) -- The Walgreens pharmacy chain has fired four Illinois pharmacists who refused to fill prescriptions for the morning after pill because the drug, which can sometimes cause an abortion, violates their moral and religious beliefs.

I'm boycotting boycotts. They invoke the same kind of solidarity thinking that keeps machine politicians in power.

I buy from whoever is cheapest and most convenient. It isn't always WalMart, but when it is, I'll be there.

Liberal pablum. They wish.

The only reason I haven't shopped at Wal-Mart lately is that now have more electronics, plastic household items and clothes than I ever thought I could ever have in my wildest dreams. I LOVE being able to afford whatever I want and having it all in one place to shop and buy.

I just need to start thinking I need more stuff. Then I will go back to Wal-Mart in a heartbeat to get it.

Walmart definitely is not the least expensive grocery store. Their meat prices are the highest in our area.

Other things in WalMart are cheaper; some aren't. Like anything, it's dependent on sales. Keep your eyes open and it's fairly easy to be cheaper than Wal-Mart.

This will get bad if Wal-Mart ever starts using its huge buying power to force manufacturers to stop fully servicing WalMart competitors.

If the unions are against them, they can't be all that bad.

I think there's a whole romantic notion about small businesses. Hey I am going to go where where the price is cheaper.

"It doesn't change my mind. It's just a convenience. And anywhere else costs more,"

One of the local TV news shows here in Austin did a piece on goods pricing at Super-Walmart, Super Target, and HEB (the local, very dominant grocery store.) Took a basket of 15 common items (diapers, detergent, 12 pack of Coke, etc) and bought them at each place. Walmart had the most items that had the lowest price, followed by Target then HEB. But as a basket, HEB's prices were lowest, and by almost $2. Walmart and Target were within pennies of each other.

Actual title of AP article is "Critics Say Tide Turning on Wal-Mart"....although AP is stupid enough to title it the other way.

We avoid shopping at unionized grocery stores. We save a lot of money doing so.

As for Wal-Mart, the fact that the MSM is running non-stop hit pieces on them is a big plus in my book.

Depends on what one wants. I am trying to boycott everything made in China, and do not like low quality stuff even when it is cheap, but Wal-Mart food dept is OK in my book.

I won't shun Wal-Mart. They employ thousands, have low prices, and are a great American company. Now, the Wal-Marts in my area are sometimes too crowded and dirty...so I go to Target, even though prices are higher at Target. We still buy some groceries at the Wal-Mart, but I don't go there all the time when I shop.

I'm not going to bash Wal-Mart for being successful.

What goes around comes around.

Oh please, quit being a tool. One person quits shopping at Wal-Mart and the release of a biased poll sponsored by an anti-WalMart group does not mean the end is nigh for Wal-Mart.

Welcome newbie.

That Springfield, MO woman can kiss my @ss.

I live near Springfield and the Walmarts are always full of people. Target and Kmart have empty parking lots.

They're building a new Super Walmart in my town and I can't wait for it to open in April.

This is an obvious hit piece against Walmart.

I boycotted them for coddling to illegal aliens, and haven't looked back.

Wal-Mart doesn't support illegal aliens, their contractors do and Wal-Mart have punished those contractors who do so.

WalMart hates small business America, despite whatever "charity" they give out. That's just putting lipstick on the pig.

Horse vomit. Wal-Mart (via Sam's Club) saves small businesses millions of dollars. And they support conservative causes, such as scholarships and charter schools.

Yeah, I have an unfavorable view of Walmart too. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH OF THEM, and their parking slots are too close together in the store off of I-15. They are always running out of Chunky Monkey before I get mine, and the Rapala shad lure I bought from them last week said "floating" but it actually was a "suspending" lure.

I am organizing a boycott, dammit!!
