I heard on the radio this morning, that a pilot of a passenger jet departing LAX claimed to have narrowly avoided being hit by a missile. It was reported that the jet was about 6,000 feet in altitude & over the ocean when the event occurred. The news report further stated that authorities believe it was possibly a flare or a "bottle rocket."
I googled but found nothing. Anyone else have some info on this? I dont recall whether it was CBS or NBC radio news.

I heard the report discussed by Melanie Morgan on KSFO this AM in which the official report stated the missile was probably a flare or a bottle rocket. She expressed disgust that the government would so insulting as to expect us to believe such an explanation.

They want to keep the airlines in business by keeping the public ill informed.

I would think we had many members who would like to be working on the solution. Trying to beat DRUDGE! I think he has been silent on this.

If it was a coverup, it shows that 2 out of 3 of the things he spoke of are real, and the 3rd--gun control--is next, IMO.
I wonder if it really happened myself.
