Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan waits for people to show up at her book signing near President Bush's ranch on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 in Crawford, Texas. Sheehan, whose 24-year-old Casey died in Iraq, called for anti-war activists to return to Crawford this week as Bush celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday.

What Casey did stands on it's own, but you can't deny that his mom used his death for self promotion and to seek to destroy what he fought and died for. So no, his record is not tarnished. But to say that she hasn't cast a pol over that record is to give his mother a significant pass for some aspects of what she has done.

For anyone still imterested, I have been to DU time and time again and I FINALLY saw an article on the book, the photo, the turnout, etc. Very few postings BUT the few DUmmies responding make much of the criticism as well as a CNN poll they want to mob in order to raise the yes vote on the "Would you buy her book" question up from its miserable 24% thus far. From there they go off into the never-never land of the numbers in Crawford not being important.....it is the "symbolism" that counts. So okay everyone, light another candle, sing another chorus of We Shall Overcome. Just the low number of responses shows me that even among the DUmmies.....her 15 minutes is over. But I am sure that when she is standing alone in a Crawford ditch like some sort of bag lady she will still have a handful of followers as deluded as she is.....They just won't bother to show up there

What a friggin' swamphag she is. I am only too curious as to what her book says, though she won't get a dime of my $ to read it. So, I can only imagine...

Chapter 1: Intro

I remember that when I was young, and looked like a younger version of ALF, I was never very popular. In fact, nobody really knew I even existed. Perhaps this is because I spent so much time being shoved into lockers during school, I don't know. But one thing is certain, I knew that someday I would have my time in the spotlight........

(skip a few chapters of BS)

Chapter 5: I was a Nag of a Mother

Chapter 8: My Son Joined the Army to Get Away From Me.

Chapter 9: How to Profit From Son's Death.

Chapter 10: What New Car to Buy First?

Chapter 11: Husband Leaving me at the Height of my New Career.

Chapter 12: My Encounters with Michael Moore (Not as sexual as you might think, he's too fat to do it!)

Chapter 13: How to Cope With Society Wishing You were Dead.

(More self-centered BS....)

Thought you might like this picture though from Reuters. My Mom's side of the family lives in Dallas, and her oldest sister has a hotel in Port Arthur that was hit by Rita. My (second) cousin Dominick, wearing stetson, is visiting from Poland, and helped out with the Rita disaster at their hotel and was recently photographed at a Crawford Rally my Uncle took him to. Certainly had his share of experiences while in the US!

Guys like Rush, Hannity, and O'Reilly need to continually connect Sheehan with the names Kerry, Kennedy, Soros, Dean, Carter, that idiot Murtha, and the MSM.

Clump them all together and label them as "mainstream" Democrats and people will start disassociating themselves as Democrats.

These Dems are losers and nobody likes a loser.

I would never give Casey's POS mother a pass for her vile actions. What she does only besmirches her. Even though she has used his coffin as her speaking platform it has not diminished him in my eyes. I think we are using different terminology to say the same thing. As an explanation, on a scale of 1 to 10, Casey's service ranks a 10. He gave all and paid the ultimate price. On the other hand, his mom ranks an odorous -3. Not only does she do nothing for her country (which would give her a rank of 1 if that was all she did), she is actively subverting our nation's ability to wage war. She is a useless waste of space and is taking up air that a good person could use. I hope that clears up my feelings about the 'peace mom'. I also hope we are good because I see that we fundamentally agree on everything except semantics, and those are not worth arguing over.

Bless her heart. I can't stand the woman, but I hate even seeing my worst enemy embarrassed like this.

We are good, even if we don't agree. Fortunately we do. I understand where you're coming from and didn't mean to imply you were giving his mother a pass. In both our eyes he was a hero. She couldn't change that no matter what she did.

She is definately a weasle of the first order.

Take care.
