Not exactly what Allawi said. He qualifited his statement by blaming one sect, not all of Iraqi's.

I don't mind FNC's fair and balanced approach but I DO mind thier supporting people who are so obviously anti-American and anti-freedom. Wesley Clark has no credibility on military issues but he's brought on to talk about it. I tend to write an e-mail to the show's producers every time I see these jerks on-air.

"Biden's job this week is to go all about and take credit for troop reduction in Iraq on behalf of the Democrats."

I think that is one of the new DNC talking points - I suspect Levin and the others will be echoing the same message. Before and during next year's election they can say, see we had a *plan*, we forced the President to withdraw the troops. The Admin and the new media need to get out in front of this and keep reminding the public that the President's plan from the beginning was to bring the troops home when Iraqis could take over their own security - -not on a scheduled time table that would allow the terrorists to wait in the wings until that date then pounce on the Iraqis.
I think Condi Rice touched on this in her interview w Jim Angle the other day (only heard part of it).

Maica, this will also hurt Allen's run for president. He voted along with the other senators.

^^^^^
Let us hope that he learns from this mistake. He is my favorite. I think he must have thought that Warner and Frist were "thinking okay." IOW, Allen did not give it any thought and relied on others to do his thinking for him.

Perfect example of why Republicans are losing the debate on Iraq.

Levin goes on and totally distorts words used by the President saying he link Saddam and Al Queda. Chris Wallace called him on it, saying he is distorting the truth. He turns to Luger and this is the Republicans response

"Cris we have to think of the now in Iraq......yadda yadda yadda"

Luger no. Right now you need to state the case as to why we went into Iraq in the first place. Thats the debate you are getting hammered with you frikkin moron. Some one needs to tell these Republicans to start fighting fire with fire and start pounding democrats with the truth. Amazing they cant seem to figure this out.

Your comment is revolting.

While I despise the Senator I can't see any reason to remark on the results of his cancer surgery.

Which is why the Louisiana and New Orleans elections will be in the news next year.

Wow, is this clown on drugs or what!
I saw this scumbag too and wanted to punch his smarmy lights outs. Anyone else notice the "Freudian slip" by the moderator when he asked this dirtbag if we were stuck with the 2004 election? He rephrased the question just after letting the word "stuck" slip out.

The man cannot win

*****

Only in the polls.
He is winning in the war on terror, and I even heard that Congress is going to be bringing on serious legislation regarding illegal immigration.

Because these idiots rely on the NY Times and MSM for news instead of reading what they are supposed to read.

Allen did not give it any thought and relied on others to do his thinking for him.

Allen is a favorite of mine as well, but he has twice now appeared to rely on others, in this vote and in his initial remark, later recinded, that the President should meet with Sheehan.

He, who's legacy will forever be a stained blue dress.

Much of it is orchestrated behind the scenes by Billary. He wants more than anything to have history look on him kindly, and not be known as the blue dress guy. She wants more than anything to be back in the WH.

Read on NewsMax that Colin Powell criticized the White House for 'attacking' his friend Murtha.

Powell said he disagreed with Murtha but the White House had no right to attack him.

Excuse me!!!!!!!

Powell deserved to be cashiered from his job as Sec.State.

It is unforgivable that Lugar wasn't able to better articulate the connections between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

During the 1990's, the New York Times, Newsweek and numerous other media outlets wrote frequently about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden.

Clinton's Justice Department's federal indictment of OBL mentioned that Al Qaeda agreed not to attack Iraq in exchange for weapons development and training. That sounds EXACTLY like a relationship to me.

That and more here:

I think you are mistaking the meaning of the remark, although I do not purport to speak for gbc. McCain's face looks like his cheeks are giant, fat earlobes. Only when carefully made up and lit does he avoid this showing.
