HERNDON, VA –Young America’s Foundation exposed Warren Community College’s radical Professor John Daly, who in an email to student Rebecca Beach, vowed to intimidate those students who host conservative speakers and called for American soldiers in Iraq to murder their superiors.
Instead of admonishing the professor’s intemperate attack on a student’s right of free expression, Warren Community College President William Austin said Prof. John Daly has “first amendment rights” to harass Rebecca. Furthermore, the President is trying to bully Rebecca into silence. He said Rebecca, not Prof. John Daly, is ruining the college’s name by going on talk radio and television exposing Daly’s mean spirited email.
In an interview with the Express-Times, a local New Jersey paper, Daly stood by his email to Rebecca. He told the paper that Rebecca’s conservative group is an “ultra right-wing, possibly fascist, group.”
Daly’s email to Rebecca came after she sent a note to faculty announcing the appearance of decorated war hero Lt. Col. Scott Rutter to discuss America’s accomplishments in Iraq.
Daly’s unedited email can be read in full below.
“Prof. John Daly knowingly intimidated one of his students. That’s not protected by the First Amendment,” said Jason Mattera, spokesman for Young America’s Foundation. “It was poor judgment to hire Daly to begin with. Warren Community College compounds their ineptitude by defending Daly’s harassment of Rebecca.”
A bit further down they have a complete transcript of the original email he sent to her, in which he says, "I will continue to expose your right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like your won't dare show their face on a college campus."
Man, if I were a law firm I would grab her up and sue them for millions of dollars for misusing their position of power over the students.
It's going just exactly the way I said it would.

I note that he said "a college campus" and not just "our college campus". This was one sick individual for sure.
He should be fired.
I hope Ms. Beach has the stength and courage to stand up to this attack. The leftists are like vampires... the best way to defeat them is to expose them to the light of day. The more she calls attention to their actions, the hotter it'll get for her, until it reaches a breaking point. More power to her and her fight.
The university is our next battleground for conservatism.

"Warren County Community College to Hold an Emergency Meeting
The Board of Trustees of Warren County Community College will convene an emergency meeting of the Board, Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 6:30 PM. This meeting was called by Board Chair Edward Smith.
The Board of Trustees intends to consider the welfare and rights of its students, the college community, and the public in lieu of recent events. The Board will also consider personnel issues.
The college President, Dr. William Austin reiterates his statement that comments made by Mr. Daly are his own. The opinions Mr. Daly has expressed do not represent the views of the community college, administration, faculty, staff or students, nor do his views align with the college’s mission and core values.
College President Dr. Austin said, “The Board of Trustees’ meeting is scheduled for the first legally available date.”
I believe he has been FReeped! This is our County College and on Monday I'm planning on placing a few calls to the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Thursday I emailed the President of WCCC and as of today I haven't received a reply. Hannity has challenged this Daly clown to a debate at the College. We will see what happens next.
That is abuse of the children that do not mirror their leftist views. This is an abuse of power they can't get away from while at school.

Last time I checked, the First Amendment wasn't the private possession of college Presidents to dole out as personally seen fit.
