TexasCowboy was called home last night.
Please Add your prayers.
Tearful prayers for TC and his family. May the Lord welcome him Home with open arms.
Beautiful, Billie.
Prayers and condolences for Texas Cowboy and his friends and family.
Rest in peace cowboy-you earned it.
G-d bless his precious soul. May He also bring comfort to TC's family and all of his friends. What a sweet, wonderful, courageous, strong man. He lived a good life and fought the good fight and I hope to make of his life as example to help me live better and do more for others.
I would love to see photos on this thread; there are so many wonderful ones. The ones with him and Baby Logan made me cry even before his passing.
Texas Cowboy, I will miss you! No more pain in Heaven, I am happy at least for that!
Can't see the keyboard... What a beautiful tribute.
God Bless all.
While I agree y'all should meet, I'm not sure they are Crazy! Squantos and Travis McGee (who may be a cousin BTW) I only know from their posts, most of which seem rather normal. Flyer, far from being crazy is very bright and a wealth of knowledge about obscure things. Xena is a fox and the kind of person you want to live next door to. OH, then there is Eaker ...... OK you do have one nut in the group .....
prayers up!
Prayers for TexasCowboy and his family.
"This is too sad............"
Wait a minute. He's with the Lord with those members of his loved ones and friends who have gone one before him. And WE'RE still here.
Seems he is the one who is in joyful bliss.
Thanks for the update Rob. Sorry to hear.. He will be in our prayers.....
Well, too sad for those of us that have to wait until we see him again. :)
(How many Kleenexes do you think I have here? Running out...)
That was a BEAUTIFUL song. Thank you, TC, for thinking of your fellow FReepers when you heard it. We are all in this together. I bet now you see one error in the lyrics. I bet now you know that even after death you will stand by us.
The last I heard it was still "under investigation" meaning that there hadn't been any leads that they would look into.
Dear Lord,
Please Embrace our Texas Cowboy in Your Bright Light of Grace and Eternal Peace.Thank You Lord, Amen.
Thank you, Starwise. I know we all feel sad to think of all he's been through the last year, fighting an uphill battle every step of the way, and he just couldn't ever get to the top of that hill....until now - no more obstacles, no more hills to climb, and no more pain for him.
I pray for Faith and the rest of his family to find comfort in that.
A lot of folks on this thread have said things that keep bringing this song to mind. I hope it brings comfort to you all as well.
Steven Curtis Chapman - With Hope
This is not at all how
We thought it was supposed to be
We had so many plans for you
We had so many dreams
And now you've gone away
And left us with the memories of your smile
And nothing we can say
And nothing we can do
Can take away the pain
The pain of losing you, but...
We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
(There's a place by God's grace)
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again
And never have I known
Anything so hard to understand
And never have I questioned more
The wisdom of God's plan
But through the cloud of tears
I see the Father's smile and say well done
And I imagine you
Where you wanted most to be
Seeing all your dreams come true
'Cause now you're home
And now you're free, and...
We have this hope as an anchor
'Cause we believe that everything
God promised us is true, so...
We wait with hope
And we ache with hope
We hold on with hope
We let go with hope
Ok...I'm bawlin like a baby now.
Hugs Star
Thanks for the ping. I am so sorry to hear of this.
Merciful Father,
We ask that you will enfold our TC as he moves from this realm to the Heavenly home you have provided him. Comfort his family and all of his many friends who will dearly miss him.
We ask that those who grieve will be granted the ability to have a strong and perfect memory of him. Grant them the grace to have at all times in their hearts the image of his laugh, his smile, his walk, his touch, and the good times they had with him.
For those of us who did not know him well, we ask that you will take our prayers and use them to the highest purpose and the need of the hour in behalf of those who are dealing with this large gaping hole in their lives.
Thank you Father. We commend TC and all his loved ones into your care and keeping. This which we call forth for them, we call forth according to thy Will, for any and all who are in a similar situation of grief.
Amen
