GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
Jim McDermott is up there babbling incoherently. Geez, he's so circuitous with his "example" that you don't know what the heck he is talking about. Good. No one will give him any credence because no one can understand his rap. What an idiot.
Murtha did not vote yea for his own beef?
Trent Franks did a very good job. He spoke well and strong.
maybe the Repub Senators/Congresspeople are finally getting the message that we need to unite and support the President. I called Ken Mehlman's office yesterday to say ...no more donations until the Rep Senators & Congresspeo stand up and support the Pres. I called George Allen's office today re why did he vote to mandate quarterly reports on Iraq. While this doesn't sound like a bad thing...but, we all know, it looks like the R's caved in to the Dims....once again. I got 2.5 page email from Sen. Allen's legislative asst. Maybe by keeping pressure on these R's...they will finally stand up to the Dims and support our President....and, mostly, stand up for America.
The CNN guy thinks the Repubs messed up too.....LOL....soooo predictable.
Yes, they are stupid .. this vote is against MURTHA.
They're happy because the dems voted WITH THE REPUBS ..??
And one useless Democrat governor.
Can you give a link to that DU thread?
"I just turned on Alan Colmes radio show...and he is all upset about Jean Schmitt from Ohio...having a letter from a Marine that called the dems cowards????"
ahhh, alan got his talking points from the dnc. now we know what they'll use to distract from the actual vote......
You're right--'Rats are a sorry lot, but their instinct for survival is strong. They know they'd stand a very good chance of getting booted out of office next year if they pull a cut and run like they did in South Vietnam.
Jihad Cindy McKinney coming up in a few.
I love J.D. Maybe he'd like to run for President?
I tell ya, it's a laugh riot!
I imagine most of the Dims are not sleeping well tonight. Ted Kennedy, not having to vote in this, went ahead and had the rest of the bottle and passed out around noon.
I don't know who Dan Ackroyd was impersonating (har har) but he sure did a dang good job of it. My husband and I settled in to watch the "show" and we both thought he looked and had the mannerisms of Ackroyd. I laughed my head off (but I retrieved it) when I checked on FR and heard others referring to him as Ackroyd! ROFL! Don't know who that person is, but he rules. LOL
House; not the Senate.
Any time the media blames both sides we just had one big freaking win.
Well this is the Thanksgiving gift our troops needed.
