Probably one of the reasons is that "war" is never officially declared any more, so many of the treason/sedition laws are unenforceable.

I think the Election '04 thread would be larger.

Yes and anyone who posts about how "principled" Saint Paul is, needs to be asked..."OG HE'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PRONCIPLED, THEN WHY DOESN'T HE RUN AS A LIBERTARIAN AND STOP TAKING GOP MONEY?" Because he beat the GOP candidate in the primary and then won the election -3 times straight.
And now that the Libertarians have ballot access in Texas, the Republican leaders would rather have his vote on procedural matters and let him go his own way.
Otherwise we'd probably lose TX 14th to the L(s).

Maybe this will be the wake up call to fair weather republicans who have left president Bush out to dry. When a president has an approval of 36% after winning a national election, it is his supporters who are letting him down.

Ralph Hall was my congressman til redistricting....only dim I ever voted for....I adore him and was so proud when he switched. He got the biggest kick out of my telling him how it pained me to vote dim....took longer cause I couldn't vote a straight ticket! lol
He still sends me calendars and patriotic stuff. One of my favorite people in the whole world! :-)
