Call Rep. Sam Johnson,I just tried, but I think the voice mail box is full. It rang 6 or 7 times and then quit ringing.

"Withdrawal is not an option"...uh oh, he's beginning to sound like Clinton. The Democrats won't withdraw tonight, but they'll all take morning-after pills tomorrow.

Due to heavy calling from moveon.org and du, cspam is unable to take calls for President Bush.

Who is the sole Republican "yea" vote? Ron Paul?
To: the Deejay
Two RATS so far voted yes.
To: MJY1288
I have never heard any of them say what is going to happen if we were to leave.
What do they think will happen?

Finally, they have to vote.
BTW, I think that I'd rather live in Texas.
That Sam Johnson was speech was so cool.
He even got unanimous consent to an extra three minutes. LoL!

A BTTT (back to the top) or a "bump" brings a thread back to the "latest posts" page even if the thread has been dormat for years.

Murtha needs to move to France, where giving up is honorable

My son is in IRaq, Murtha can get him killed by embolding the enemy. And that is exactly why we had to have this debate and vote tonight. Murtha does have influence in this area. We needed a strong voice to counter that, and the Gentleman from Texas done good.
I believe Murtha is sincere, but wrong, and the peaceniks in his party are using him for their own ends.

To: Howlin
within 45 seconds, the Nays were at 218 , yeas 1
what a pitiful display by Murtha and those who backed him, only to leave him twisting in the wind as the vote goes down.
with 2 minutes gone, 1 R has voted Yea and 2 Ds.
