He's reading the NYTimes talking points.
And it's always been thus...
What does "forget about the veteran" have to do with pulling out of Iraq? What does these casualties already sustained have to do with surrender?
See, Murtha has gotten old, and can't stand the suffering of war any more. He's forgotten what war means.
The FATHER wants to pull out the son, the SON doesn't want to come home.
But the Father insists, and Murtha gets the guy pulled from Iraq? A congressman can get a grown man pulled out of the army because his daddy is whining?
Murtha has made this all about the individuals who are suffering, rathr than the SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!
This is about our SECURITY, not the suffering of the families who have given so much for our security. Sorry, it's harsh, but that is what it is.
Our troops did not BECOME the enemy. WE ARE THE ENEMY because Al Qaeda CHOSE to attack US.
Yeah...and he is again saying that Abu Ghraib is what turned Iraqis against us. This is BS. Heck, the Iraqis were just caught with their own torture chamber.
Murtha is just giving one anecdotal story after another. This is so typically Dem. Bring out the sob stories about the poor starving mom on welfare, the poor soldier w/no armor (they've got armor and have had it for a long time), the poor family of the dead soldier. There are a lot of families out there that are PROUD of their dead son's and daughter's and their service to our country in a war zone. They aren't all anti-war like Murtha is portraying these families. Time for a grand finale now by the Pubs. Hope it happens.

And it's just coincidence that it comes at a time when all the rest of the RATS are coordinating the same attack.
