Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn) up now. Good to see conservative women talking about this. "You all on the left opened up this debate, they've been itching for a fight for a long time & now they want to sneak out and avoid this topic.... The left wanted to go out & talk about this with no regard for the big picture, for constituents who have families fighting... now they're going to have to stand here and take the heat and have the debate.... The left works real hard to isolate Iraq from the ME and the global war on terror. They think the terrorist separate Iraq from teh war on terror.... I don't think America is ready to give up on the war for the free world. They wanted the debate, they're going to have the debate... the American people have backbone."
YEEE HAAWWW!

(A person's a person no matter how small.)
Was anyone aware that Murtha was in the Marines, served in Vietnam, and is the foremost military expert in the history of Congress? The media never seems to mention that.
Also I heard that John Kerry was in Vietnam and that Sean Hannity is selling a book...

I think this is a brilliant strategery by the House GOP.
It makes all the moonbats go on record, as they must to placate their looney anti-War base. It exposes the fault line that is forming for the 08 presidential nominations.

I get the feeling the Republican Senators that voted yes didn't understand how that monstrosity would be perceived. Yep and there are a lot of representatives out there who would love to become senators come next election. They should be quacking in their boots.

Yep, and I for one have heard enough.
Time to put up or shut up.
They want to own this issue for the next year but the Republicans have called their bluff.
God help our country... I never thought I'd see the day a TRAITOR would run for President and almost win.

Henry Waxman D CAlifornia, just said this resolution differs from the murtha resolution in KEY ways.....and then he went into the I WAS MISLEAD line.....Why didn't he SAY the KEY differences?
To: workerbee
She was great. Waxman is on now, crying the blues and saying this is a fake resolution. LOL He's trying anything he can think of to avoid the vote.

I wonder why Nancy Pelosi doesn't use her daddy's name, D'Alesandro, as part of her name like Kathleen Townsend Kennedy for example?
Hmmm? D'Alesandro? Baltimore?
