Conservative talk show hosts could have a contest among themselves for their next annual conference - how many talking points can a caller mention in the shortest period of time. Maybe they could even give different point value to different words.
Bonus point for "I used to be a Republican..."
OMG! My new bumper sticker!
I'm liking this Rep. Steve King...R-Iowa
Yes, Congressman King!
They HAVE to vote.
Bitch and run.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
I like Stephen King
No, I believe Kucinich recently married a woman. But before that, didn't he run some sort of contest to find a mate?
Right. If you listened to his entire speech on C-span yesterday, you would know exactly what he meant when he talked about redeployment.
He wants to take out the vast majority of the forces. Then he wants to put a small marine force in a "nearby" country, to be used as a "quick-strike" force in Iraq if necessary.
Murtha said that the sooner we pulled all our troops out of Iraq, the sooner things would get better for Iraq. He gave NO indication that there was ANY reason to leave the troops there a minute longer. He said: "It's time to bring them home". He didn't say SOON, or in six months, he said "It's time".
He also said: "Our military has accomplished its mission and done its duty."
There is no way to "misinterpret" his comments as being anything but a call to get our troops out of the way, out of Iraq, as soon as possible.
That is why all the newspapers said the same thing about his statements: "One of Congress' most hawkish and influential Democrats called Thursday for an immediate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq".
