Oh, dear lord, Rep. William Jefferson, aka Yet Another Louisiana Crook.
I agree they are traitors.
When we were fighting communism, we knew the enemy. Now, that enemy has evolved into socialism and found the democrat party.
So, in fact, we are fighting the enemy in our own government. They are just coming out more. And they should be called the enemy.
So did the "vote to decide whether to vote" pass?
Darned husband that insists on eating dinner around this time every night!
:^)
oh......thanks so much for reminding me.....I've got some hot coffee brewed.....to which I'll add some baileys!!!
Did Jefferson EVER get in trouble for mis-using the National Guard during a time of emergency?
You watch who you call a socialist, you SOB.
Convincing people they're disgruntled Republicans is a huge part of the Rats' strategy. They do it when the seminar callers call talk radio, their seminar posters do it here, they do it with their letters to the editors, they do it with polling.
They think if they can manufacture the illusion a bi-partisan anti-war/anti-Bush majority, the rest of the sheep will follow suit and join them.
It's pathetic, but somewhat effective. Especially with middle-of-the-road moderates, last minutes swing voters and other morons.
I gather that the 7:00 time is when the pull out resolution will come to the floor?
it was a quick blurb on the screen on C-SPAN...and I know Dreier is chairman....and I know how he feels about Iraq. He may be soft on immigration, but he is rock solid on this issue.
There will be a vote on Iraq after they discuss this other business.
I have lost all track of how many of those people did NOT get in trouble for breaking the laws in the state of Louisiana. Then and now.
There always has to be at least one turd in the punchbowl on every thread. Get lost.
Via CSPAN - The House occupancy rate is about 10%. Where in the heck is everybody?
I am cubicle bound.
Mama Buck, get the coffee going. It's going to be a long night and bumpy ride. ;-)
