"So when do you go for the abortion?'' my friend asked, her voice sympathetic.
"Wednesday,'' I replied, and then hurriedly got off the phone. I called Mike, my boyfriend, in tears, complaining about how inconsiderate people are, how no one thinks before they speak. The truth was, until I heard the word "abortion,'' it hadn't occurred to me that I was actually having one.

As for that baby that will never be, I will remember him always. But I'm quite certain that I made the right choice for the three of us. I guess the baby that will never be didn't get a chance to disgree with dear old mom about whether she made the right choice. She knew the pregnancy was going to be high risk. Her and dipwad boyfriend should have used birth control given their ages. Morons. Absolute friggin' morons.

Someone should have said , when are you murdering your unborn child. Maybe she would have thought that inconsiderate too. I couuldnt get the link to work.

Looks like she has alittle shame ... trying to think of what lie to tell people ... .
"When I walked into the hospital, no one knew why, or cared. The nurses were kind and the doctor held my hand as the anesthesia took over."
How nice of the medical profession to be so cold. I suppose this is the result of situaiton ethics - how nice. Sarcasm off.

One of the most self-indulgent attempts at denial that I've read since that Anna Quindlan column in the NYT that described each of her three abortions.
Meanwhile, the 52 year-old ex-hippie father breathes a big sigh of relief.

For these people it is all about them. They can choose to bring a child into the world but they can't get married first and provide a stable home first... Nor can they deal with any other inconvenience... Got to terminate any inconveniences...

What a total AIRHEAD.........

I can't stand how these women think if they talk about how difficult their decision was or that they'll "mourn the child that would never be" that somehow it makes everything alright, even noble. Sorta like the Menedez brothers killing their parents and then being sad about being orphans.

I feel sorry for her. Even though she believes that she made the right choice, she will never be the same emotionally.

This 'woman' is a weak, immoral, mealy-mouthed apologist for the evils of abortion - her 'man' is simply a pussy.

No they shouldn't. The use of contraceptives is mortally sinful regardless of circumstances. The child should have been allowed to live. End of story.

Let's take it one step further, if we're talking "sinful," and suggest that maybe - possibly - if they weren't married, they shouldn't have been having sex??? God lists the "big 10" and adultery and murder are both on there. Somehow, the USofA in 2005 has decided that God didn't *really* mean that "thou shalt not commit adultery" thing. (And yes, adultery is any sex outside the bonds of marriage.)

If abortion is legal, there should be a time limit set on it.
I suggest 18 or 21.
Just think how convenient it would be for woman to tell her child "If you don't clean your room, I will abort you".

There
are "life of the mother" exceptions to abortion. I strongly suspect that this wasn't one of them. There are "high risk" exceptions in which the mother's life is absolutely forfeit if the child is carried to term. I can understand an abortion in those circumstances. I don't believe that that was the situation here.
You all know the shortest sentence in the Bible don't you? "Jesus wept."

Did you mean morally sinful? Abortion is wrong but, to say the use of contraception is wrong is stretching abit too far.IMHO

This is an example of the perfect story the pro-choice crowd would want to run now that Alito will be facing the panel soon. I can't wait for the inevitable question now - What if it was you in this situation? Is it right to force these happy people to a life of suffering and financial ruin because of your beliefs? blah, blah, blah...
Funny how she likes the anonymity when she goes in to kill her son, and talks about how her mother protects her by telling her sister-in-law she "lost" the baby then she goes and profits from it by selling it to the paper that millions of people read, so proud of her decision like it was the hard way out instead of the chicken-sh*t way it truly is.
