There
are "life of the mother" exceptions to abortion. I strongly suspect that this wasn't one of them. There are "high risk" exceptions in which the mother's life is absolutely forfeit if the child is carried to term. I can understand an abortion in those circumstances. I don't believe that that was the situation here.

I am one of those 'high risk' mothers. You can bet your life that I made VERY sure I did NOT get pregnant.
Pregnancy is not something you catch like a cold.
There are choices to make that do not include killing your unborn baby.
