President Bush is making a speech at noon. Fox is reporting he will address the criticism aimed at him by the democrats in the past two weeks.

It sounds like a re-run of the last speech he made - verbatim.
As if Bush does not love and respect our military. The naysayers are indeed assisting the dnc. Gees.
These kinds of speeches are good, except that many will never see or hear.
Why isn't this a prime-time speech?
It is not being broadcast on my local PBS, CBS, NBC, ABC, nor CSPAN 1 nor CSPAN 2.

I think you're right; it's a great speech but not much different than I've heard before. A little better delivery and stronger in terms of the Islamofascists ultimate goals, but nothing about the leftist lies.
To change minds, he has got to take them on, and I'm just waiting....

The Pres is outlining the extreme oppression they wish to rule the world by. Extreme oppression of women, anybody who doesn't think like they do.
Says they are cowards, killing children, killing worshipers, setting off carbombs.

Pres saying OBL says it's his mission to show Muslims what's best for them. Pres points out the extreme privelege and wealth OBL grew up with.

Per one commentary I heard this morning, the President lays the wreath on Memorial Day and the VP lays it on Veterans Day.
The commentator didn't elaborate whether this was a long-standing tradition. I would bet there is some protocol that has been in place through many administrations.
All things being equal, blaquebyrd, I would agree...I might agree. However, things are not equal. I can't think of a better way to honor our veterans, both living and deceased, by making sure that the reasons we fight and serve are laid out, honestly and forcefully. Just my $0.02
