TODAY, Californians are heading to the polls to vote on several major propositions that shall dramatically affect both the political and economic future of our state.
We are following the activity and will report the results.

He needs to remind the voters of the good he's done: car tax repeal, illegal driver's licenses, no gay marriage, serviced the debt a year early, no new taxes, increased education spending.
I know he spoke of "bipartisan reform" tonight but when he had the backing of conservative legislators like McClintock *and* support from the L.A. Times how much more bipartisan does it get?
The legislature needs dismantling.

Yeah, but try not to feel defeated. Lost this battle, but NOT the war. It's really a damn shame that CA can't be split --- CA, south of LA is still a GOOD place.
I detest those who surround him, they have not served him or the people of california well at all , imo.
I do not hold any personal animosity against him no matter how hard I may have pounded many of his decisons, appointments and spending and borrowing that he thought he could make up for down the road if he got any much less all the reforms passed.
imo, He shot himself in both feet out of the gate with all his bipartisanship and didn't help himself with the real base of the GOP here in California. breakdowns will show how much support he failed to garner by trying to run as a centrist/moderate, especially with the stakes so high with so many initiatives on this ballot.
imo, next year which is just around the bend, a new budget that does not pander to the left is what he needs to propose, leaner than anyone can anticipate and he needs to stop the hype.
maybe he can grow as a politician and get tough as he heads into the new year and regroup and take it to the left that has devoured and continues to devour this state's future so readily.
educating voters will be a tough job and staying focussed will be paramount as the next election cycle and all the theater that goes with it plays out.
Quite honestly, he should have been saying that all along.
We'll just have to keep trying.

They were putting out a lot of disinformation on that prop. Did you see the debate on O'Reilly between the NARAL babe and the person supporting this proposition?

This is very true. These young teens do not get to the clinics themselves. They are driven by their 19-45 year old "boyfriends."

Alameda has 700K registered voters, almost 300k more than San Fran. Co. Their absentees were 65% vs 35% NO on 75, this is going to be along night
#73 was creeping back up but has stalled
#75 had stopped losing ground but is dropping again
#74 was stalled at 48% but is falling again

Serious election watchers:
All we have is 73 and 75. Everything else is mordibund. The stories to watch:
LA County - If it breaks even, we're OK because. Problems if LA comes in 48/52 on either 73 or 75
San Bernardino - Mid-size bedroom Republican community with a 1/4 of the voters of LA. If it will come in 58+% on either 73 or 75, they win. San Bernardino will counterweigh LA County.

I hope you are right, but I am from California and have been repeatedly disappointed by the sheeple here who vote (legal, illegal, living and dead). I am praying that the voters do what is right, but I'm not optimistic.
Sometimes I can't figure out what people on here want from him ... he vetoed the gay marriage bill, he was 1000% for this abortion proposition, he's a spending conservative... much more conservative than our president ... and he has a great personality!

I'd like to see it. In a way that would really send a message to the unions. We may have bought your lies, but we know what you're all about, and we don't like it.
