I have a couple of Canadians across the street too. They here for the lower taxes and the opportunity, but all they do is bash our country. They have no sense of morality either. "They stand for nothing, so they fall for everything."

Evidently, it's a sacrament in California.

Sadly, given how close it was running, I was expecting it.
Hopefully, Prop. 73 and 75 will squeak through. San Francisco for example, still only 2.6 percent of the precients counted.

Well all the absentees are in, in Orange County, about 40% of its vote, and heavily conservative, as per usual.

Am I reading these stats right? 9.2% turnout in San Fransisco? 9.1% in LA? That's before the bussed-in DNC dead vote.

Maybe Prop. 77 will switches sides. It's not what I want to see, but it's an improvement. Re-districting is basically rigging it so that you can win, IMHO. Although in California, you have lots of Republicans, but the State government is dominated by Democrats. I really think a computer program or some other non-human way of re-districting is best. As we all know, incumbents rarely lose, even if they are total idiots. Tom Daschle was a rare and welcome exception, though...

They report the precincts only after all the votes in the precinct are counted, I think. Or, somebody is trying drive me a little goofier.

The big jump - San Fransisco just jumped from 2.9% in to 67% in.
It looks like, at a minimum, 75 is going to pass. 73 and 74 are still in the game.

That is not the driving issue on prop 73, even the anti-73 camp conceeds that. At issue is the abortion extremists not giving any ground in their war to defend the Right to Take Life.

Did I say 2.6? I meant 65%! This could allow Prop. 75 to squeak through if that many have reported in!

73 - Little girls 13 on to 17 can't leave school and get abortions without there parents being notified. This one looks like it is going in the right direction!

I think now 74 will lose narrowly. 73 will pass narrowly and 75 will pass by a decent margin. A split victory is what the GOP needed. The Democrats and their union allies face an empty warchest going into the mid-terms. This was the night they were supposed to bury Arnold and annoint Phil Angelides heir to the throne.
