Since NPR is played on AFR I think the "progressive" thing is covered. Hopefully, a Republican will get up and let Harkin have it.
Now it's not just conservative radio, but "right wing" conservative talk radio. He wants this guy Ed Schultz carried because they should get what's widely available. I never heard of Schultz until he started complaining about not being carried. He says where Schultz goes up against Rush, more people listen to Schultz, and Rush is afraid of the competition.
Oh my goodness... you know Rush will lead off with this. He's still at it.
How, I think anyway, it would do that, it so illustrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole premise of the invesitgation was flawed, and that valerie wilson was known to be a CIA employee and it was common knowledge, and that there is no justification to charge libby with lying or misleading a Grand Jury when it can't be proven he was lying or was hiding anything, and it would additionally be said that "you can't obstruce a crime that you didn't commit and that didn't happen". The investigatin is flawed in its very existence. All this would be VERY difficult for a JURY to convict on. If there's just one person like me on that jury, Libby is a free man. Because just ONE person like me, will hear all this, then listen to Valalley, and say "Screw this. This is a hose job and it's all full of crap, NOT GUILTY, and if the other 11 in the jury disagree with me, they can BIT ME! NOT GUILTY!" That's how I think anyway. 8)

Yeah really, I wouldn't be surprised if cindy sheehan, joe wilson, and valerie plame are soon found rotting in the same ditch out in the country somewhere.
Surely that will be introduced into evidence. I mean, REAL covert agents do not pose for a picture in a major magazine.

I hear you. And to be consistent, if you were on a jury hearing a criminal contempt charge against Miller, Cooper or Russert, you would have to render the same verdict for them.
I think plame is as complicit in this as joey boy is. They're both flaming liberal algore lovers. Every picture I've seen of her she just looks like some trampy looking party girl that couldn't be more unserious looking. She acts and looks NOTHING like a covert agent. She's a total joke.

I'm disgusted that a marine could so turn on the military and the President like this. I question if he is or was ever a Marine. Disgusting. He's totally in denial of reality.
Very easy to get on the radio and claim you are anything you want to be. Usually, when you can actually look at their records they are not what they claim to be.

Each party has their own dynamics, Republicans get the Christian vote because of certain stances they take...RINOs up north have a better chance of getting into office because there are enough conservatives who do not only let morals be the cause for their vote, but if you want a Conservative Christian vote then the morals have to be there.
Thats why all of these people who want Condi or Rudi to be the next president will have us lose to the democrats....the die hard moral vote which makes up enough chunk of our party to have our side lose or win an election if they show up or not will never show up for a non-moral candidate no matter how Republicans whine.
You want their vote you need to give them something to vote for, otherwise you get what you asked for.
