Good point: that was infinitely worse (episode for episode) than "Lezbos With Bodges" AKA Gagme & Sleazy. Indeed, worse than just about anything else thatbut G&S went on for miserable, tedious, pompous, impressed-with-itself season after season ... which makes the series as a whole far worse.

This thread is about a man with a gun close a school. It is not about homeschooling v. publik schooling.
If you wish to talk about homeschooling v. publik schooling take it offline or start your own thread. I'm trying to get real news and you two aren't helping.

You are the only one so far to bring up home schooling.
Hmmm, projection? Perhaps it should read:
I'm beginning to think that ANY post containing the word "school" now serves as grounds for defensive public-schoolers to bash** those who homeschool their children.
** "holier-than-thou"
Nah, it's surely a term of endearment. Feel the love.

Ok, now shoot him. There is absolutely no reason for him to have tried ot enter that school.like you really have to tell any cop, anywhere, to "shoot him."

I'm trying to get real news and you two aren't helping. This is a public forum. Someone posted a message that started a discussion here. Half your thread was devoted to that discussion before I even posted my ONE message (not counting this response to you).
If I wanted to try to disrupt your thread, I could've pinged 30 people, rather than attempt to settle it with one comment.

This is not my thread. It is a thread about a man with a gun close to a school. Stay on subject.

to bash the rest of us that have our kids in public schools. I feel your pain, only worse. I am a public school teacher.
Every day is a bash-o-rama here on FR.

[Homeschooled] kids may be safe at home and maybe not but I know my kids and husband are safe at their respective schools.
Obviously, keeping kids at home will generally be safer than sending them to a large institution, and they would also be safer if they never climbed trees, and never rode a bike and never walked to the park. Putting kids in a bubble does not teach them to be strong and prepared to defend their home and their country, but sending them to a leftists institute of socialist-just-tell-the-teacher brainwashing does not prepare them either.
And, realistically, public schools are less safe than almost anywhere else they can go (except maybe Wachovia Bank, which instructs their tellers to hand over whatever the bank robber wants). What form of protection do kids and teachers in public schools have? Liberal, anti-gun advocates have done everything they can to ensure that the only one who will ever have a useful gun in a school building is the bad guy.

Some public schools are pretty good.
I guess it depends on the city, or part of the city.
We moved where we did because the schools were good.

I checked but couldn't find a home school comment except in your post. To which post were you referring, or was yours a pre-emptive strike?

Yea really. Haven't you heard of the Second Ammendment Sisters?

Well, my advice would be to find a decent county, with a record of acheivement in scholastic excellence, and move there.
I would suggest Henrico County, VA
But only because my family had 5 generations in that system, with my son and daughter being the 5th.
My son graduated Salutatorian, and got a free ride at W&M for four years.
But, actually, Henrico has lousy schools..
forget I said anything...
really, the schools here suck..
I wouldn't move here..
