Family members are investigating what they consider to be suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a nursing home patient at the center of a life and death tug-of-war reminiscent of the Terri Schiavo tragedy.

Seventy-nine-year-old Jimmy Chambers died in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 after the tracheotomy tubes that deliver oxygen from a ventilator to a hole in his neck became unhooked. Family members were told Chambers, a resident of the Anne Maria Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in North Augusta, S.C., apparently pulled the interlocking tubes apart.

"We're having it investigated. We're just incredulous," Chambers' daughter, Deanna Potter, told WND in reference to her siblings. "The last time I saw dad he was blowing me a kiss. I blew him one and he blew one back."

The retired dispatcher for Holland Motor Express died approximately 10 hours later. His death certificate indicates he died of "natural causes."

"Apparently, suffocation is a 'natural cause' when you're on a ventilator. We're contesting that," said Potter. "He suffocated. He didn't just pass away. He struggled and fought. And I'm just so angry."

Potter estimates it would have taken 10 to 14 minutes for her father, deprived of oxygen, to fall unconscious, and questions why the nursing home staff didn't come to his aid.

"The oxygen-saturation meter and his ventilator both would have had alarms going off. Four-thirty, five o'clock in the morning you'd think someone would hear this," she added. "That's the thing that really bothers me and makes me suspicious."

Reading about judicial murder is indeed heart wreching BUT we aren't 'going through' it; the victims are. If we aren't willing to do what we can to expose it for what it is; who is the next victim? You? me?

If we feel doomed, we will be doomed. The death cult is pressing on and if they do this for evil/deception; how much more should we do for goodness/truth.

There will be some point where his voice will come forth - why not Jan. 3? His mom asks for our prayers so she retains guardianship. We must believe that it is possible before we even pray no matter who the judge. I'm going one step further that he can speak. If the death cult keeps going one/two steps further, why not me? I should roll over and play dead? I don't have a looser attitude no matter what I see or read. If he doesn't speak on Jan 3, it's still OK.

That's a good point. Perhaps, that's the next step when they/courts acknowledge, even though he has brain injury, he is capable of 'thought/desire'. Silly, I know. Just like Terri, she would want to be married to a guy who went against their marriage vows, "in sickness and in health, till death do we part"? He went way over that - he not only had a relationship, he had 2 children, as you know. So, it's a slam dunk, she would have wanted a divorce. In effect, their marriage was dissolved, just not "official".

Not sure if he can sign the papers because right now there may not be any papers. Its a one step at a time situation because he has to prove it's his will.

Terri's death was a horrible murder, made worse by the refusal of those who could have saved her to do nothing.

We are sliding into a dictatorship of judges. It has been happening for a long time, judges ruling at their whim, breaking any laws they wish, making illegal rulings. One judge who refused to follow an illegal ruling who removed from office.

Farkas voted for Terri but he fibbed about documentation that was presented to him that proved DCF was withholding 700 pages of evidence. They can't stay clean for long.

Terri's father, and brother who lived in the same building, have reason to believe he was home at the time.

He probably was at home. As I've said, I'm only presenting this scenario in an attempt to cover all bases, and to think outside the box.

If you look at the old Terri threads you'll see that, initially, discussion centered around Michael's cruelty in wanting to starve and dehydrate Terri.

Most posters, back then, did not seem to recognize Michael's possible role in Terri's "collapse."

Some posters back then were "uncomfortable" when I described at least two ways (restraint asphyxia and burkeing) in which Michael could have harmed Terri with little evidence of his methods.

Sometimes people get uncomfortable with new ideas.

It's true. That's putting it mildly. Everyone's been duped, and everyone knows it. The best way to deal with it is to go ahead and realize that the joke was on us; and we've been fed a lot of BS.

Too often people, when they realize they've been duped, think they'll spare themselves some embarrassment if they don't admit it in public. So they go into denial. The most effective form of denial is to hide the pain of being duped behind blind loyalty to some leader - who they wish was all powerful.
