Several days of Muslim Riots in Denmark (Not only in France)

For several nights in a row, there has been the worst riots in Århus for many years.

"This land belongs to us", declared the young rioters. Another arson attack took place sunday night.

Sunday evening the fire department needed police escorts to get in and extinguish an arsonist fire in Søndervangs Alle.

The words of the young muslims sound like an open declaration of war against Danish society. The police must stay away. This area belongs to immigrants.

Four youngsters sit at the wall in the Rosenhøj center, sunday afternoon, self decleared spokesmen, for those groups who three nights in a row has rioted, and put business on fire.

All around the parking lot, there are swarms of cars with youngster from the immigrant community, who are celebrating the worst riots in Århus in several years.

Every night, 30 to 40 immigrant youngsters participated. Only two are under arrest.

It was a victory.

"We knew that you would come. We are the spokesmen", said one young man with his face covered.

He was angry. Very angry.

At the back of the house was a window broken, and the fire was burning wildly, probably because of petrol that had been thrown in.

The fire engines waited for police escort so they could enter in and try to put out the fires.

Bricks from the street have been thrown and crushed windowns all up the street.

The police reports that the youngsters came to the area armed with rocks that they brought in.

Rocks against a bakery.

Saturday, a 16 year old from Somalia was jailed for comitting dangerous violence, because he attacked a bakery with large rocks. One rock barely missed the bakers face.

Raids.

"We are tired of being oppressed. We are tired of the police raiding our parents. We are tired of the police stopping our cars, and raids us in public and damages our honour.»

"We are tired of the police beating up our friends, like they did this afternoon", screams the younf man with his face covered.

He calles himself 100 percent palestinian, born in a refugee camp in Lebanon, 19 years ago, and is now unemployed in Denmark.

"The police has to stay away. This is our area. We rule this place"

And then comes the cartoons of Mohammed.

"We are angy to what has happened to our profet. We are tired of the Jyllands Post (Danish paper who published cartoons of Mohammed). I know that it wasn't you, but we are not going to take this, what the Jyllands Post has done towards the profet", he states aggressivly, and the others nod in agreement.

Planned for three weeeks.

Two of them are Turks, and it is the first time that Turks and Palestinians have joined forces, according to the spokesman.

"We have planned this for three weeks. That's why only two were arrested on Saturday. Police tried to block us in, but we now how to get out", he states and dissapears chewing on a piece of pizza that he has looted from Fun Pizza.

The only other mention of this in the Danish msm was a report by the Danish State TV that stated.

The area of Viby, just outside central Århus has witnessed a spate of riots all weekend with shop windows being smashed, a kindergarten burnt out and general violence occurring between mainly young people with immigrant backgrounds and the police. The zero tolerance hard-line has met criticism from an expert in youth research. Susasne Branner Jespersen said that a zero tolerance stance only increases the hatred between the youths and police. The Mayor of Århus Louise Gade dismissed the concerns of experts and said that a hard-line must be taken with these troublemakers so ordinary law-abiding citizens could feel safe in their homes.

Actually, there is a story in todays Danish edition of the Jyllands Posten...

It is basically an interview with a socialist politician with a Turkish heritage who want to emphasise that the "troublemakers" who rioted do not represent the ordinary immigrants in Århus...

I assume that this Danish riot only lasted for three days, and off course was on a smaller scale than those is gay Paris. Århus is also obviously a much much smaller town..

The first I heard of riots in Denmark was today (06 Nov 2005), otherwise there has been nothing at all in the UK press. Even the Paris reports are very limited. I'd agree with the news blackout theory.
As for the European countries inviting the wolf in - I'd like to say that it wasn't the day-to-day people who allowed this to happen, that was down to government and EU policy. But it's the day-to-day people who have to live with the consequences.
From the minute the bombs went off and were recognised as terrorism, the media and government went into action telling us how it was just minority loonies who were not representative of the Muslim community as a whole. I could go for that, I mean David Coresh in Wacko was not representative of all Christianity.
I thank the Lord we now live in a society where rules and laws have been created to protect people from discrimination, be it racial or sexual or whatever. Things have come on leaps and bounds in the last decade or more to create an equal society where people are appreciated for their contribution and abilities and even just the fact that they are human beings. I enjoy the freedoms of the West and certainly would fight to keep it all.
I believe assimilation is the only answer. My Hindu neigbour has no problem with it, nor has my Catholic Irish neighbour. And they are not a minority. Most people come to England to improve their prospects, aiming to live well alongside everybody else and enjoy things like religious freedom.
I don't mean to sound rude but I cannot tolerate people who moan about their problems and don't take any positive, constructive action to remedy them. I am sick of people covering up their own inadequacies with things like the race card - even stretching back two hundred years to prove their point. In England everybody is entitled to free education and health care etc, and social security benefits. I'm sure it's basically the same all over Europe for day-to-day people. Granted, the benefit system is under great strain and the cash received by claimants is very minimal - but at least it is there. My own family are working class and have struggled for many generations - but none of us took to the streets to riot.
I don't mean to sound harsh but I think the governments are going to have to get harder on immigrants in general. Zero tolerance leading to mass deportation is the only way forward. Countries need to put their own nationals first, and that means within the whole infrastructure of society.

In Poland according to the most "optimistic" estimations that's 0.1% and half without citizenship. Not much welfare, so they don't go there. 15% in Austria ? Not possible, but what could you expect from a source called theislamproject.org ?
On the other hand in France at least 9% and Spain 2-3%.

But congratulations for asking the question. Too many mind-numbed robots don't bother to ask this kind of question, and I think the answer to that is that they are afraid that the answer might leave them uncomfortable.

You are asking even if the answer leaves you without comfort, and the risk you have taken puts you into the category of "corageous." I didn't say "fearless," because courage and fear go hand in hand. It takes the former to rise above the latter, and do the right thing anyway, even if it isn't the cozy thing to do.

Some day, when enough of us get together and ask the hard questions, we might start to get some answers that make sense.
