The MSM LOVE Fitzgerald; in their eyes he is the knight in shining armor.

What does that tell you?

LOL!
The pathetic thing is my kids would be shocked if they knew what a potty mouth I can have when I am angry. Moms are not supposed to know "that" word, much less say it! But sometimes no other word will do.

Novak said he will give a full account of the affair once the Feds are done with the GJ process.

At some point in the future when people still won't give a damn.

" Today: The economy grew by 3.8% despite Katrina and Rita. Liberals are crushed by this great economic news."

Also inflation was much less than expected.

What is Walter Pincus talking about, "intimidation of witnesses?"

Is he trying to make Libby's letter to Miller into intimidation?

"Interesting that a former undercover CIA agent (Bob Baer??) is on Fox saying a democrat on the hill blew his cover to a reporter back in the 90's, he complained to the CIA and they said no big deal, it happens all the time."

Exactly. The only reason this matter has gone as far as it has is that we have some Democrat politicos pushing it in an attemtpt to damage the White House. The Dems persist in acting like a collection of underhanded losers.

This morning we hear from the junior senator from NY she thinks the president should choose the next SC Justice by CONSENSUS.

Didn't I hear yesterday that somebody has a proposal to have the judicial committee come up with a list of names from which the President could choose the nominee? I'm quickly growing tired of politics and can only be thankful, despite my studies, that I have other hobbies :)

LOL! Thanks for the link and posting the content. I thought it was a VERY important moment.

BREAKINGS- FYI- the president will make a statement about indictments sometime today. Libby WILL step down while he fights charges.

Wow, look at this:

'Scooter' Libby to Avoid Perjury Charge
Newsmax ^ | Oct 28, 2005

Posted on 10/28/2005 11:15:48 AM EDT by Hadean

Lewis "Scooter" Libby will likely avoid perjury charges in the Leakgate case, and will instead be charged with making a false statement to investigators - a crime that mirrors Independent Counsel Robert Ray's findings against Hillary Clinton five years ago.

Libby's indictment "will be 'false statement' charges as part of an effort to mislead the grand jury," reporter Carl Cameron told Fox News radio host Tony Snow Friday morning.

"False statement charges are significantly different from perjury," Cameron explained. "They don't include the need to prove intent."

Libby's indictment will likely be based, said Cameron, on his claim that he first learned of Valerie Plame's identity from the media, rather than from Vice President Dick Cheney, as media accounts have suggested.

In his October 2000 final report on the Travelgate scandal, Independent Counsel Ray said of Mrs. Clinton: "The overwhelming evidence establishes that she played a role in the decision to fire the [travel office] employees and provided input into that decision. Thus, her statement to the contrary under oath was factually false."

Despite Mr. Ray's conclusion, however, that Mrs. Clinton had committed a serious federal felony, he declined to prosecute.

Care to explain why?

Because I wanted to.

Care to make a bet on indictments?

Libby.

Have a good day.

Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them.

This is what I read:

Most of the reproduction of Aspen is by root-sprouting, many trees in a grove being connected together by a common root system in what are referred to as "clones." Because the trees are in clones, they are genetically identical.

Anything else is simply reading your own interpretaion into it!

Well, your rant suggests you ARE on drugs and perhaps you best take some.

Rove resigning now is no different then ADMITTING he is guilty. Laughingly, you seem to be saying that if he resigned, the media would call him a sterling citizen and move on to something else.

You live in the Bizzaro world.

its not resigning for cause.

to be honest, both Libby and Rove should have left to "spend more time with their families" after the 2004 election. as private citizens, they would have been able to properly defend themselves in this GJ. as government officials, they cannot. Libby was trapped into an indictment, and Fitz will be trying to snare Rove again and again in the coming months if he gets his extension - more testimony, more traps, all with a GJ comprised of persons who demographically would indict him at any time.

So she's following on the coattails of the Captain of the S.S. Cadillac.

Woodward said that the CIA looked into the matter, and the CIA indicated that there was no damage done as a result of the Plame leak.
