He evidently tried to set a perjury trap for Rove and it didn't work.

I'm with kcvl; the more I hear about what this guy does, the less I like him.

True, Novak should get punished. Odd that it's like he's fallen off the edge of the Earth lately.

"After his interrogation by the SP, he was definitely admonished NOT to breathe a word .. and as far I know .. he's abided by that."

I've heard that - I just didn't think Bob was capable... somebody must have really scared him.

Out West, where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning. They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them.

How do you read this? Was he hung out to dry by the WH? It troubles me that Bill Kristol is vouching for his honor.

I just posted a comment on the currently-running thread "Senator Clinton Urges President to Select......"

I point out what the libs really mean when they refer to one of their marxist political techniques, namely, "concensus". It's reply # 93.

I see no additions to his site.

Me neither. Other than the press release announcing his press conference today which the media has already told everyone about.

Marc Rich, the lucky recipient of a Clinton pardon is involved in the Oil for Food scandal up to his filthy eyeballs!

By the way, why in the world would Cheney choose Libby as his chief of staff? Wasn't Libby the defense lawyer for Rich at one time? Weird.

" I hate to say it but perhaps Rove should resign.
I know hes innocent but he is also fresh bloody meat in a pool of media Sharks!"

I think we can ask the question of whether Rove really needed a government position to do his job for the President. But if someone in the administration is attacked and investigated and they find nothing at all then resigning sends the wrong message.

Thanks. Told Novak I hope he appears on foxnews to tell all and wouldn't be surprised if his source was good old Joe Wilson.

Novak said he will give a full account of the affair once the Feds are done with the GJ process.

Karl Rove, President Bush's deputy chief of staff, looks towards waiting reporters as he gets in his car in front of his house Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, in Washington. White House officials braced for the possibility that Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide would be indicted in the CIA leak investigation, but held out hope presidential confidant Karl Rove might escape charges for the time being. You mean like Bush did when he jumped on a plane to have dinner with Ray Nagin after Nagin cussed Bush out on National TV? (implying guilt) You mean like Bush did when he threw Trent Lott out? You mean like Bush did when he rehabilitated BUBBAH? You mean like Bush did when he got rid of the head of fema (for doing nothing wrong)?
You mean like Bush did when he stayed silent as ALL REPUBLICANS were being slandered as racists during the Katrina mess? From day one the left has accused GW BUSH of not being able to fart without asking KARL ROVE how to do it! This is a blood bath and IMO Karl Rove is not that big a deal. It wasn't Rove who got Bush elected it was Talk Radio, Fox News & the Internet. So don't you dare talk to me about getting a spine! Its smart to choose your battles & fighting for the political career when we have 1000000 more important things f\going on is small potatoes....and yeah maybe even dumb!

This morning we hear from the junior senator from NY she thinks the president should choose the next SC Justice by CONSENSUS.

Like she did for "her husband"?! Ruth Bader ACLU Ginsberg?! That ***** needs to keep her mouth shut unless she wants to prove how stupid she really is (or thinks we are).

Is this a great week for us or what.

Let us see:

Tuesday: the Iraqi Constitution draft was approved. Terrorists, liberals, and their media whores are crushed.

Thursday: Miers withdrew her nomination making our base unite again. Liberals did not get their wish of a divided Republican party.

Today: No Rove indictment and a Libby (who?) indictment on a false statement and not the leak itself. This is the worst crushing defeat for Liberals and their media since the 2004 elections.

Today: The economy grew by 3.8% despite Katrina and Rita. Liberals are crushed by this great economic news.

Yes, I did!

And I saw Woodward try to give that report to Dodd and Dodd wouldn't take it!

Here's a thread somebody put up last night about it:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1510686/posts

DODD: I'm not suggesting Joe Wilson is quite in that category but close to it. But for the Iraq story this story is a minor section B story in Washington. The Iraq story is the story. That's what was going on here.

WOODWARD: I agree but there is some factual problems here. When Wilson went to Niger before all this blew up, in fact before there was a war, he came back and reported and Michael and others who have read the Senate Intelligence Committee on this know his report was very ambiguous.

In fact, most of the analysts at the CIA said that Wilson's findings when he went to Niger supported the conclusion that there was some deal with Iraq. Now that's, I mean the Democrats -- the Democrats and the Republicans all signed that report. That is a fact. And, you know, there are other facts and speculation.

DODD: That report didn't go into all of that. The report was about other issues. I mean...

WOODWARD: No, but it did. I've got it in my pocket. I'll read it if you want.

DODD: (INAUDIBLE) the mood here was to sell this and we now know because it was false. The information was false and to suggest that there weren't weapons of mass destruction on the nuclear program there was going to be a major blow to that argument. It's a very important issue.

KING: You walk around with this in your pocket?

WOODWARD: Yes, yes, I do because I knew I might be challenged.

LOL, if you even had a clue what day it was not to mention knowing what you are talking about, you would already KNOW if I have been claiming Wilson will be indicted. If it happens though I'm sure you will go through a gross of crying towels in short order.

Anyone know what this kook is saying. I sure cant figure it out. Gee guy, at least wait until noon to hit the special brew.

Could you have more biased phrasing? Damn...

"Mr. Smith not prepared to go on record favoring heroin legalization today." I guess that would be worse.
