Some doof from the Washington Post this morning said "the perception may be that this is not bad, but it is bad". Whatever, even if Libby is indicted, Fitz has nothing from the original charge, therefore, most of the last two years has been a fishing expedition. The best he can come up with is a perjury charge.
Truly lame.

Miller may be indicted but I just heard that Wilson's lawyers will be speaking. Why would Wilson's Lawyer be speaking about the case when the charges aren't about the disclosure and Rove is still "under investigation"? Probably to announce that they are pursuing a civil suit against Libby.

For starters, Brigette Quinn is repulsive this morning. Anyone else find her annoying?I find her repulsive 98.4% of the time.

Matthews needs to back to his true calling, being a politico.

Good points, thanks for patiently answering my questions and concerns. Now, I wish the MSM didn't change the word "indicted" to be a synonym of "guilty".

It's unbelievable. The coverage over this non-story is incredible. I'm so disgusted with our system. It's been TWO years...what on Earth can he not find out in two years. At this point it's not a matter of searching for the truth, it's searching for something to pin on him. It's absurd. My only hope is that all these leaks are wrong and he's going to come out with something completely different that will so piss off everyone in the media.

He said that when his source is known, we're all gonna laugh. Interesting since the only name that will make me laugh is WILSON.

Where? On his DOJ website, or his super-duper secret website that cropped up last week?

meanwhile the MSM has exactly ZERO interest in the over 2000 UN Companies involved in the Oil For Food scandal!
Marc Rich, the lucky recipient of a Clinton pardon
is involved in the Oil for Food scandal up to his filthy eyeballs!

What a load of crap! Regarding the last line, Pres. Bush never stated that "Saddam was trying to secure nuclear materials". He said that British intelligence had made such a finding -- which is true and the British gov't still stands behind it. I guess the MSM forgets that President Bush kept pressing for more confirmation on WMDs from Tenet, who responded (loudly), "it's a slam dunk Mr. President!" And I agree on going to Iraq on the genocide that was occuring there alone.

I wonder if there was a more intimate personal relationship between Libby and Miller. It might explain why Miller went to jail -- not just to protect a source but a secret -- when she never wrote a story about Wilson/Plame. It would also explain Libby's strangely worded (coded) letter to Miller. Maybe Libby lied to the grand jury because he's more worried about the discovery of an affair (he's a married man with kids) than he is about the Plame leak. Anything is possible. Or maybe Miller was the one who provided the name to the other reporters based on her conversation with Libby.

I hate to say it but perhaps Rove should resign.
I know hes innocent but he is also fresh bloody meat in a pool of media Sharks!
To: Hildy
Yep, totally infuriating.
Perjury-that's gonna be it. The leak itself seems a dead duck.
