A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Hi. Our Finest JohnHuang2 is suffering the aftermaths of Wilma (clearly she's a dem :o) so we decided it's time to put a smile on your face with more of our fuzzy friends. Be sure to click on the music link halfway down!!!! Guarenteed to make you "SMILE"!

WHY GOD MADE PETS

They help out around the house....

They protect our children.....

They look out for the smaller ones....

They show us how to relax....

They "converse" with each other....

They help you when you're down

They are great at decorating for the Holidays

They are Patriotic!

Okay...we've gotton here AND we hope you have a smile on your face. Hope this "solidifies" it. Have a great day and Don't forget to "SMILE"!
Smiles

SMILES

Verse:
Dear -ie, now I know just what makes me love you so,
Just what holds me and en -folds me in its gold -en glow;
Dear -ie, now I see 'tis each smile so bright and free,
For life's sad -ness turns to glad -ness when you smile on me;

Chorus:
There are smiles that make us hap -py,
There are smiles that make us blue;
There are smiles that steal a -way the tear -drops
As the sun -beams steal a -way the dew;
There are smiles that have a ten -der mean -ing
That the eyes of love a -lone may see,
And the smiles that fill my life with sun -shine
Are the smiles that you give to me.

Okay...sing-along time!!! (unless your freeping at work!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are smiles that make us hap -py,
There are smiles that make us blue;
There are smiles that steal a -way the tear -drops
As the sun -beams steal a -way the dew;
There are smiles that have a ten -der mean -ing
That the eyes of love a -lone may see,
And the smiles that fill my life with sun -shine
Are the smiles that you give to me.
where hopefully he will be undisturbed forever.
Mr. Phudderson was a special guy, he may have looked small but I
can testify that inside he was a big ol' dog with a big ol' heart.
Any scavengers would need tools to get at him now.
Oh I am so sorry however he will never be disturbed because;
He's a Hurricane Katrina survivor/abandonee
Oh the Lord bless you!
I would have done that in a heart beat but my Maddie is kinda alpha and 10 years old and would not have adjusted well or perhaps I should say the new dog wouldn't have!
three of us are considering just dropping everything and doing the Appalachian trail starting out next spring....
Just do it!
You won't ever regret it!
Hi Hair...thanks for pinging the thread. BTW...Rusty...the big guy we adopted from Calif. is still doing great! Thinks he's a chihuahua in a 60 lb. body :o)
Is this from the "dog needs home" thread awhile back? My memory is foggy.
I adore her, besides being so cute she is a genius! Scriptures saids ,"that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord" I call her my "good and perfect" gift
Gizmo showed up on our doorstep...we found Rusty (our Rodesian Ridgeback) via an appeal on Free Republic. He came all the way from California to Ohio. We call them both our "gifts from God"
Beautiful picture of your travels.
I would give practically anything to trim his toenails. He is in a cairn in central Texas, buried by humblegunner and me, where hopefully he will be undisturbed forever.
Awe...didn't realize he passed on to rainbow bridge. So, what breed is peanuthead?
Yup! It was about 1 1/2 years ago. We shipped him from California to Ohio. Here's the "big lug" (after destroying all if Giz's toys!)
Yep .... hoping to be back bugging everyone soon after the surgery.
They are keeping me hopping prior to surgery on 7th. I think it is good since I will definitely know my condition health wise. :)
