A couple that had a son killed in Iraq who came to stand with us took a lot of heat from the leftists. One was quite cruel--he told the woman to her face she would never be a grandmother because of her support for the war.

She started crying, but hung tough and stayed until we were ready to leave.

This just breaks my heart. Cindy Sheehan should have walked up to the idiot who made that statement and slapped him. But I know; I know where Cindy's decency lies. These liberals are unbelievable.

I feel so sorry for that poor mother and her husband.

as a soldier, who often visits Walter Reed Army Medical Center, I thank you for confronting those people. It is a real shame that America fosters self-haters and rewards them with celebrity status. I really wish President Bush would offer free flights to any other country that wants them. I'd gladly pitch in to fund that.

It takes guts to confront moonbats - you know that already don't think logically and are most likely violent. I am proud to serve fellow Americans like your group.

I am appalled but not surprised that the couple who lost their son was assaulted by Sheehan's crowd. That is disgusting, they were brave to stay and face the crowd.

Sad, very sad. Wonder if one day she will wake up and realize what she has done, I suspect she won't.
