D.C. Chapter Livens Up Cindy Sheehan's Die-in at the White House 10/26/05
D.C. Chapter ^ | Wednesday, October 26, 2005 | Kristinn

Posted on 10/26/2005 8:30:25 PM PDT by kristinn

Members of the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic livened up Cindy Sheehan's die-in at the White House tonight.

We started arriving at 6 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House. I arrived at 6:45, so others will have to fill in the early part. We had about a dozen or more scattered about in small groups engaging the anti-American leftists gathered to play extras in Cindy Sheehan's Traveling Freak Show of Treason and Tragedy.

Cindy's latest publicity gambit is to stage die-ins in front of the White House to 'observe' the 2000th death of American soldiers in Iraq. She and her handlers are holding daily vigils this week in front of the White House punctuated by photo-op visits to Arlington national Cemetery, the Iraqi Embassy and Walter Reed on successive days.

On Friday, she'll hold a press conference at the National Press Club.

This evening, we gave the leftists and their fellow travelers what for and an education. I spent considerable time addressing the leftists gathered on the sidewalk in front of the White House, informing them that they were standing with groups that support the terrorists killing Americans and Iraqis.

I asked them to raise their hands if they agreed with Cindy Sheehan that foreigners going to Iraq to join Al Qaeda were "freedom fighters." Surprisingly, no one raised their hands

Later, I asked them if any of them knew how many of the 2000 soldiers whose lives they were 'mourning' had been killed in action in Iraq. It took a long couple minutes of my asking the question several times before only two of the several hundred protesters came up with the answer (about 1560.)

I then asked, being that they say they care about the troops, how many were missing in action in Iraq. No one knew (one-Matt Maupin.)

I informed them that they are parroting the number 2000 without knowing anything about it.

Some of the exchanges with the leftists were quite heated. A couple that had a son killed in Iraq who came to stand with us took a lot of heat from the leftists. One was quite cruel--he told the woman to her face she would never be a grandmother because of her support for the war.

She started crying, but hung tough and stayed until we were ready to leave.

Our Iraqi friend, Nofel, got to speak with Cindy Sheehan early for a few minutes until her handlers dragged her away. He told her that her son lives on in the freedom of the Iraqi and American people. He also told her that her son helped give back to every Iraqi mother their children. That was too much for Cindy's minders.

IraqiKurd spent time talking with leftists trying to get them to understand how Iraqis truly feel about being liberated by American and the coalition. Nofel did so also, but it was a frustrating night dealing with the moonbats.

Mr. and Mrs. Trooprally saved the day by bringing signs and small American flags for us to hold. Jimmy Valentine's brother, LandryFan, Spiff and Dustin10thMountain all did their part tonight.

We left around 8:45. The die-in and the coreographed arrests were going on and on. The news reports only 22 leftists had the guts to be arrested. The rest who started out in the die-in chickened out and left to join their fellow leftists in the audience.

We kept reminding those pretending to be dead of what it was like to be killed by terrorists by describing various terror attacks from 9/11 to Beslan and what they would be going through as they died. We also reminded them of the manner of death for Iraqi opponents of Saddam's regime.

The die-in was total show biz. But with the media's help it'll be broadcast around the world to accomplish Cindy and her handler's goal: more real deaths of Americans and Iraqis at the hands of terrorists so that we turn tail and leave Iraq to the their terrorist allies.

I'll bet you converted a few of them too, with what you all told them. They'd never admit it there, but I'll bet they're thinking about it as I write.

What you told them will haunt a few of them for sure.

EXCELLENT JOB!!!

"...Cindy, you've changed since the Kerry campaign

1. What noble cause? “This is an artsy question that is hard to answer. However I can tell you that a war based on lies is not noble, but a war based on bringing freedom to people is noble.”
2. How many more lives? “If we can not achieve the goal of bring freedom, I do not want to see any more lives lost in this war.”
3. How many lives are you personally willing to risk? “I will say the same thing. If this war will not bring freedom to the Iraqi people I am not willing to personally risk any lives.”
4. What are you doing to bring our troops home? “I believe that we are in a critical two month stage right now. The Iraqi people are supposed to have an election in December.”

Thanks to Nixon
the lies of Hanoi Kerry and Hanoi Jane
are being told again.
And our military are being slandered in Gitmo, Iraq and Afghanistan

Hanoi Kerry and War Crimes in Vietnam

Hanoi Kerry went before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in 1971
to accuse the United States military
of committing massive numbers of war crimes in Vietnam.

Too bad that because Nixon failed to uphold the law,
we are still stuck with Hanoi Jane and Hanoi Kerry.
If Nixon hadn't caved into the minority anti-war crowd
and listened to the Silent Majority
Hanoi Jane AND Hanoi Kerry
would have been prosecuted for their treason in the 70's,
while Nixon was still President.

Keep in mind that Nixon was directly involved in Viet Nam,
as Vice President, going back to at least 1955.

26 Sep 1945 - The first death of an American serviceman in Vietnam occurred.
OSS (Office of Special Operations) Major (Lieutenant Colonel) A. Peter Dewey
was killed in action by the Communist Vietminh near Hanoi.

May 1950 President Harry S Truman authorised $10 million in aid to the French for their war in Viet Nam.
By January 1951, $150 million had been given in aid.

1953-61 Dwight D. Eisenhower 34th US President
1953-61 Richard M. Nixon Vice President
1953 - The US is supporting the French in the amount of $1 billion per year--
33% of all US foreign aid--which is 80% of the total cost to the
. US Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles (under Eisenhower) first voices the 'Domino Theory':
if one country in Southeast Asia falls to the Communists, they will all fall, one by one.

12 Feb 55 - President Eisenhower's administration sends 1st 350 U.S. advisers to South Vietnam
to train the South Vietnamese Army

8 Jun 56 - The first American of record to die in Vietnam
was Air Force Tech Sergeant Richard B. Fitzgibbon Jr.
His son, Richard B. Fitzgibbon III, died in Vietnam Sep 7, 1965.
8 Jun 56 Has been formally recognized by the Pentagon as the first American officially to die in that war.

5 Sep 56 - President Eisenhower tells a news conference that the French are
"involved in a hopelessly losing war in Indochina" 1956 The US believed in that Ho Chi Minh would have won any election held in Viet Nam and used their influence over the government of the State of Viet Nam to ensure that the election was not held

About Vietnam

The Vietnam war was the longest in our nation's history.
1st American advisor was killed on June 08, 1956,

and the last casualties in connection with the war occurred on May 15, 1975, during the Mayaquez incident. Approximately 2.7 million Americans served in the war zone; 300,000 were wounded and approximately 75,000 permanently disabled. Officially there are still 1,991 Americans unaccounted for from SE Asia.

Vietnam was a savage, in your face war where death could and did strike from anywhere with absolutely no warning. The brave young men and women who fought that war paid an awful price of blood, pain and suffering. As it is said: "ALL GAVE SOME ... SOME GAVE ALL"
The Vietnam war was not lost on the battlefield. No American force in ANY other conflict fought with more determination or sheer courage than the Vietnam Veteran.  For the first time in our history America sent it's young men and women into a war run by inept politicians who had no grasp of military strategies and no moral will to win. They were led by "top brass" who were concerned mainly with furthering their own careers, most neither understood the nature of the war nor had a clue about the impossible mission with which they'd tasked their soldiers.  And the war was reported by a self serving Media who penned stories filled with inaccuracies, deliberate omissions, biased presentations and blatant distorted interpretations because they were more interested in a story than the truth! It can be debated that we should never have fought that war. It can also be argued that the young Americans who fought so courageously, never losing a single major battle, helped in a huge way to WIN THE COLD WAR.
