Agreed. I love anything Ronan sings!

You have to understand that Houston has a long, long history of seeing their teams collapse. Same with the Boston Red Sox. Remember... 86 years? 1918? ;-)
Hey, the Stros fans are sounding louder now... keep it up! :o)

instead of this straining at being goody-goody. Two words: Bud. Selig.

I know he drug it out, but I love Ronan Tynan's version of God Bless America.Same here... one of the few things about Yankee Stadium that I love.

No, never seen the flag pole get hit or get in the way. It's usually the incline that throws the outfielder off.

Life..... We all get old and gray, and some of us gain a few pounds. And get face tatoos... I like his though. : ) It is over a scar , I believe.

Too bad the fans can't just sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"Houston ought to just keep the killer bees sound blaring for the whole game.

Not trying to minimize the long suffering of the Red Sox faithful, but anyone from Cleveland(which has it worst of all) or Houston knows that Boston has had it good compared to them. Look how many Celtic championships there were, Bruins, too, and then the Patriots. Houston finally got the Rockets 2 of 'em, but otherwise the futility spanned so many sports. I didn't mention the numerous meltdowns of nearby A&M and UT. They'll lose the Rose Bowl, if they even get there.
Anyway, I must stop to put on 'Sunrise, Sunset'...

We need another clutch hit.

I'm originally from Cleveland, and I don't think I'll ever see a title. The OSU championship 2 years ago was great though.

Two more innings. I don't know if my heart can take 2 more innings.

Jeez, did you see Bagwell throw his bat? At first I thought he was going to wreck his shoulder again, but then on the replay I saw he threw it down left-handed.
Baggy may have to become a DH (and take a pay cut). He's from New England. Can Big Papi play first even adequately? I think the BoSox would rather go after Konerko, who can play first and is also a New Englander.
To: Miztiki
Give up? Did we give up when the Nazis bombed Pearl Harbor? NEVER!!
