Rep Weldon to give major House Floor speech on Able Danger momentarily; ON CSPAN NOW

Rep. Kirt Weldon is on Michael Savage's radio program, and he is implying Rumsfeld is the one blocking further investigation into Able Danger.

Weldon is fuming; says he personally (in a committee hearing) asked Rumsfeld about the investigation being blocked. Rumsfeld replied that he would 'get back to Weldon with a response.' Weldon says he still has gotten nothing from Rumsfeld.

Weldon to give a speech in a few moments this evening on the floor of the House. It should be aired on CSPAN this evening.

Apparently, the defense department holds Shafer in check by using economic threats. Perhaps someone should fund him so that he can resign and start talking.

For instance, I bet a forward on a book contract could keep him in beans for years.

Let's put our heads together and see if there isn't a source of money which could insulate him from their threats.

I think the pens from the US Govt were marked "property of the United States Govt." Then apparently, the feds accused Tony Schaffer of having their pens in his possession. What a sleazy and childish way to set someone up who risked his life in Afghanistan.

Whomever sent him that box, what a bunch of idiots. They tried to entrap Tony Schaeffer imo, thinking that he was the only one. He wasn't a lone whistleblower after all. Some bodies at DIA are nothing but stupid felons.

As long as I live I will never forget that vile creature who used to be President.......tell a father whose son died on the USS Cole that he would find the people who killed his son.

The day of the memorial for the USS Cole I just sat there and cried the entire day.

And to know that not only were the men on the ship standing watch....unarmed....they were forewarned and sent to their slaughter.
