Love those Fly Boys. They are getting to keep Cannon open for 5 more years, thank goodness. Reese AFB here in Lubbock was closed about 12 years ago. It is a great place and we even had both Katrina and Rita "displaced" sheltered there. Many stayed! They did not want to go back to NOLA.

I think that's a misinterpretation of what Laura said. She wasn't attacking conservatives per se, but simply agreed that 'some' of the critics might have sexist or elitist reasons for their opposition. When I see people criticizing someone for their clothing or makeup, I think that is sexist. When I see people criticizing someone for not going to an Ivy League university, I think that is elitist. And I am not attacking conservatives by saying so. Neither was Laura.

Her man broke off the engagement after she was dignosed with cancer. That might be why she is so bitter of late.

Just for the record, Podheretz was defensive but not rude. He never attacked me just defended himself.

I've always like Podheretz. Lately, I have not agreed with him muchbut I am a loyal reader of his NY Post columns. Same can be said of Charles Krauthammer. I love that guy. I don't agree with him on Miers and Able Danger but I look forward to reading his opinions.

We needed a positive lift after the travesty on Laura Ingraham today.

I'm usually a fan of hers, but I was shocked at the depths that she went to get ratings. I may have to switch over to Tony Snow.

I have always disagreed with Rush's trust in the public to see thru the Dem operatives in the MSM.

The majority believe what they see and hear on TV, they follow the crowd on the conventional wisdom, put out by the press, the Oprahs, the comedians, and Hollywood movies.

It is natural human behavior, ie, the public says they don't like negative advertising, but the fall for it every single time.

The leftwing media and Hollywood run rings around the conservative press, and the conservative press continues to dine, drink, and populate the DNC political "shows".

The conservative press knows not who its real enemies are, and it shows.

I can assure you JJ would be ran out of town before the bus hit the city limits. We have no use for the likes of him.
