Yeah, I'm trying to ignore all the whackos out there. I've been much happier not listening to Rush and Hannity. It's kinda sad that in order to keep my sanity, I've had to stop listening to two people I usually agree with.
Sure, I'll keep him in my prayers. What kind of job is he looking for?

Unfortunately, the only time I can listen to Rush on a regular basis is during an election year.

I love that look you labeled "listening to reporters question" He obviously is a skeptical of them as we are! Thanks so much Gretch for what really is the only safe thread on FR these days!

Hey Mike! Love your tag line! LOL!
I've tried to refrain from the Harriet Miers debate but I have to say I'm getting more disillusioned by the day. I just can't believe the way the White House is handling this. They certainly didn't seem prepared for the so-called conservative backlash (i.e., the conservative punditry, that is) and then they seem to keep stepping in day by day. I've said from the get-go that I'd wait to view the hearings and then form an opinion but the handling of it just keeps getting messier by the minute.
I want to trust W and believe this is the right choice but I can't discredit the arguments against her as they all offer valid points. I guess I just view it as a missed opportunity...sigh.

Little prayer said for your dear hubby that he is energized to find and turn over the stone that the job is waiting under for him.

I'm not sure what else the White House could do! President Bush didn't pick from "THEIR" list and that's the rub

I didn't bother to check out the same 10 or so Freepers who are stirring the pot, but I'm sure they're still at it
