EXCERPT FROM --- HOUSE OF CARDS
House Of Cards
What do Cher, a Hollywood con man, a political rising star and an audacious felon have in common? Together they gave Bill and Hillary Clinton a night they'll never forget -- no matter how hard they may try
By April Witt Sunday, October 9, 2005; Page W10
The caller lied easily. He'd had practice. It was Raymond Reggie, a New Orleans businessman and Democratic activist who happened to be Sen. Edward Kennedy's brother-in-law. He also happened to be in a lot of trouble.

Great work. BTW, I like hearing you on the Mark Levin show.
Please add me ( Bushistops) to your posts regarding the Peter Paul case. Thank you.
BUMPITY BUMP BUMP!!!
So, this is what we get for all the great hype and breathless anticipation for the MSM story that will bury the Clintons? And what did the WAPO give you for the effort, NADA. The same day used car want adds would have been much more informative.
FReepmail me (click Private Reply, NOT Post Reply) to be added to the Peter Paul & Hillary ping list.
Surprise, surprise.
(sniff, sniff)
DFU, is there a rancid 'bear market' mentality in here? Could it be the smell of a stealth troll from Planet DUrsus Horribilis?
We can see that you are of no help and intend to be of no help. That's fine. The rest of us are going to try to keep advancing the story. Despite April Witt, and despite whiners like you who never do anything for our side, Hillary and Bill are going to be under oath in a Los Angeles courtroom next year. Discovery should begin early in the year.
Some of us see an opportunity. Your glass is not only half empty, you have thrown it on the floor and broken it. This article is perfect to be added to the documentary INDICTING HILLARY to show how the mainstream media has an agenda and is covering up for the Clintons.
I will be making additional calls to Republican leadership, to Delay's office, and to other GOP offices. This scandal needs to be cited by Delay as to how the Democrats are playing games. This is the biggest campaign finance fraud ever, and the only person charged has been a low level functionary. What the hell are you going to do? Sit there and whine?
I hope you will reconsider clarifying the facts regarding the personal roles of Hillary and Bill Clinton in misleading the public and the voters in New York, through deceptive statements made to your paper and to government agencies that legally required accurate and truthful reports. Specifically I would like to reiterate what the record shows after your paper broke the story of my felony convictions from the late 1970's: 1) Hillary's spokesman Howard Wolfson, speaking to WP reporter Lloyd Grove on Hillary's behalf, acknowledged in the Washington Post story dated August 17, 2000 that Hillary knew the cost of the gala was "$1 million plus, but it was an in-kind contribution" ; 2) Wolfson's statements, as quoted in the Post articles of August 15 and August 17, were clearly intended to deceive the public regarding my true overall involvement with Hillary's campaign (producing 2 previous fundraisers in June, 2000) and in producing and underwriting the August 12 gala.
I would have been more impressed if you had not over reached as to the implications of the write up.
Facts are all that matter, and the fact is, the article was devoid of facts tying the Clinton's to a crime. When one goes out on a limb, beware of who (the MSM) is behind you with the saw.
The article was so bloody boring, the average reader will never make it (with good reason) beyond the first paragraph.

HILLARY in a -NY- Yankee Cap =
DUKAKIS in an -ARMY- Tank,
...still.

......To get in, Tonken said, he wrote a check for a $50,000 donation. Tonken didn't have the cash, so he stopped the check right after lunch, he said. A Democratic fundraiser phoned a few times to collect, then gave up, Tonken said......
That seems like more fun than pledging money to a Democratic telethon.
....Her campaign netted a paltry $57,000 out of $1.1 million raised.......
That is the most amazing statement in the article.

If informed the sun rises in the east, it is not breaking news.
Thanks for all your hard work here on FreeRepublic. Where would FR be without you?
After reading the article I was left with ok SO? The focus was more on the 3 fund raisers and them being crooks, making the Clintons look like the victims. Where is the proof they committed a crime and knew? Am I missing something here?
In court, that is the picture I witnessed being painted by the prosecutors. Rosen was desperate to hide the costs because his last fundraiser was a net loser for her. If he had two in a row, he certainly would have lost his job. The defense team flew in the slimy Harold Ickes to testify that Rosen was not in jeapoardy of losing his job. BS.
BTTT!
Thanks Doug.
And lose a branch of government? /s
