The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
*shakes head*
I see someone gave you her first post so I won't repost it.
Oklahoma has, sadly, a history of ignoring terrorism in their midst. They did this with the first OKC bomb.
For example, immediate interviews with people outside the Murray Building showed that people saw a Middle Eastern man walking away from Tim McVeigh and the truck and they described a distinctive tatoo on his arm. The tatoo is an exact replica of that worn by the Iraqi Republican Guard.
the lack of ID ?
The person was blown to bits ! Who knows if it was even someone who went to the school at all. Not a 5 minute job for sure
You're welcome, Rod.
I'm glad that blogger is not considered a reporter for whoever's pool it is he is shooting video for. He said that OU lost the first three games of this season. Not true!
We may be rebuilding (truly, we are!), but we are 2 and 2! We *did* roundly defeat the dreaded Tulsa Hurricane or whatever their team's name is, Univ of Tulsa. We've only lost by a total of 24 points, but we've won by a total of 38.
This is sort of like finding a dead body in a park with no blood at the scene and suggesting that there's no evidence of murder. Can you find one report from the least five years, or ever, of a person intentionally killing himself with a bomb who was not intent on taking a bunch of infidels with him?

Thanks for the update. If you want to know something, read FReeRepublic. We're not still not getting much from other sources.
so far, the information and media blackout on this is holding. I don't if even talk radio will ask any questions about this - perhaps Michael Savage will.
The guy's house shook, one mile away from the stadium. And no word yet on the identity of the bomber, despite earlier posts upthread that a bus driver, who was blown off his feet, watched the entire thing.
Pravda has taken over.
Google "SDS" and "Weather Underground Movement"
You know, just reading all these posts--our local news is essentially downplaying everything--it almost looks as though the first bomb (the one that went off) might have done so prematurely. I think they were waiting for a certain time (halftime maybe?), and wanted to kill and maim more people. Interesting, isn't it, that this happened within hours of the Bali bombing? And isn't Ramadan just around the corner?
That's because in a disaster, EVERYBODY in the area is going to try to call people at the same time, which would saturate the tower. This way, only emergency services phones work, and they have the whole tower capacity available

NO , but that is not proof that this is the case here either.
Again , jumping to conclusions. My guts tell em this story will amout to nothing much other than some nut wanting to blow himself up .
PS I'm sure someone someplace has blow himself up on purpose to commit suicide.
I was speaking more to your building 91 comment...
I always spell the name of that building wrong! It just will not stick with me -- the correct spelling.
Dead rabbit was the culprit in brother-in-law's case... he was feeding a young owl he'd found injured after a storm. (It recovered before he did ;) BTW, he's also had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.
I'm just so frustrated that the MSM isn't speculating wildy and calling for the end of the world.
And I just can't understand why the police haven't put togther all those body pieces and come up with a positive ID yet.
And did you read where somebody saw two people running in the stadium? I mean, you've got 84,000 people and there's a loud explosion and two people run. That's really, really, really suspicious. I'll bet they were carrying nukes that they forgot to set off.
