Hours before New Orleans Police Superintendent Eddie Compass announced his resignation, Tony relayed some hot information he had heard from his Capitol Hill sources. It regarded an FBI investigation currently under way.

William Jefferson. The FBI was already taking a look at him before the hurricane. It was reported that they poked around in his homes in DC and NO. It was also reported that they found a lot of "cold cash" [maybe 1/2M or so] in his freezer.

I recently had a conversation with a retired FBI official and he said that NO was the most corrupt place in the country. Wonder why nothing was ever done about it.

And, her brother Mitch Landrieu is currently Lt. Governor of LA. There are beaucoup other Landrieux. Father Moon was the mayor of NO and various other of the nine children are politically involved.
Voted! I think once the names are revealed of the missing cops, a few searches for political contributions would be nice. If all this is true, some of this cash likely paid for Blanko and other LA and National Dems!

Oops! Mr. Compass didn't just resign, he fled to the Witness Protection Program.
At Compass's retirement announcement, Mayor Nagin did make a crack about Compass making a lot of money after he leaves.
I saw that clip last night.
It could be the book deals he's signed.
Maybe some money under the table to keep what he knows quiet.
